At
@unaveragejane's request, please check in here pregnant ladies. And please let her know how your lady bits feel when you sit on the potty. That sound really weird, maybe Jane can explain it better.
Any questions? Concerns? Comments? New fluff?

Re: ~~~ Pact Grads Check In ~~~
Jane, my lady bits feel fine, thank you very much. My issue is a tad more posterior. I need to start eating more P fruits - prunes, pears, etc. I feel so close to you guys right now.

I'm feeling better than I was last week! I put ice on the rib spot to encourage baby to move, and it seems to have helped.
If I go to the consignment sale this weekend, all I'm allowing myself to look at are NB diapers, nothing else. Still really haven't bought anything for this LO.

Our A/S is Monday, so I'm really excited to get to see Butterbean again. I'm also hoping the dr can reassure me that all my aches and pains are normal. Besides the whole spd-hips moving in independent directions feeling, I also feel like I did after my episiotomy. It's definitely the exterior portion of the hoohah and not posterior, and it's weirding me out. In happier, more normal news, I finally am starting to feel some little goldfish movements at last. DH has even been touching my belly lately, too. He was not at all a belly toucher last time, so I am enjoying it this time.

Last pregnancy I gained 50+lbs. My doc never said anything. When I asked she just said my body is going to do what it's going to do. My mom gained 50, 60, and 70lbs with her 3 pregnancies. She said she always lost it after a year.
No new fluff this week

I'll be your friend.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.

This was me too. Last pregnancy I gained 70 pounds and they were concerned I had gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and all the other stuff that is typically seen with a quick and large weight gain. I didn't have any of it, and my daughter was born at term at 7 1/2 pounds. I also lost all of it before I was pregnant again.
This time around I've gained over 30 by 24 weeks and given my history my doc isn't concerned. She says some women just hold onto every calorie during pregnancy, and that's what my body needs. So as long as your doc isn't worried and you're healthy, it's totally okay!

This is me, too. And all of the women in my family. We're all short and petite and gain a lot during pregnancy and lose it after. Sucks when even healthcare professionals make you feel bad about gaining during pregnancy.

I didn't mean to imply it was universal. Poor wording on my part. My first midwives were on me even though I hadn't even gained ten pounds at the time I transferred around 20 weeks.
I'm still feeling like Im recovering from a horrible sickness. Tired, my stomach is just off. I feel weird. Totally different than last time. I'm hoping I feel normal soon. My house needs my attention and Logan would like to leave the house more, I'm sure. He loves to watch people. I want to take him to story time at the library, but I don't feel up to it right now.
My lady bits feel normal. I'm still spotting here and there, but I'm trying to ignore it. I went in about a week ago and baby was fine. I realized I never talked to a nurse while I was there, I only had an US and she said baby was fine and I left..... is that normal?
I updated my ticker after my due date changed at my nt scan. I'm trying to keep with the latest date they'll let me have in the hopes of avoiding an induction if this one is as reluctant to leave my uterus as the first one was.
