It varies for everyone.  My donor was on Gonal F/follistim, Cetrotide/Ganirelix, HCG, doxycycline. If I remember right she stimmed for 11 days.

As a recipient you would likely be on BCP, then Lupron and estrogen (in pill and/or patch form, or sometimes deloestrogen injections). The Lupron stops after a while and you're just on estrogen until the donor's retrieval, then estrogen, PIO, Medrol, and an antibiotic (the latter two only for a few days. You'll stay on the estrogen and PIO for a long time if the cycle works.

My donor is on bcps, lupron, gonal F, HCG...  We are doing a FET due to pgd testing so I don't have to sync with the donor.  I will be on estrace and PIO.

Our carrier has been on Lupron and estrogen for a very long time (I could be considered her donor for the sake of this post). She started it towards the end of Jan and stayed in a holding pattern once everything looked good until my eggs were retrieved and fertilized with the plan being a fresh transfer. If her lining would have looked not great when I had my retrieval, for a frozen transfer, she would have been on Estrace only starting with her next period until day 12-ish of her cycle and then progesterone added in there.

JimBob: you may start the BCPs quite a while in advance to synchronize with the donor's cycle. Lupron if I'm recalling correctly starts around 3 weeks before retrieval, estrogen soon after that. Going from memory here so my timeframes may be a bit off.

My protocol included bcps on CD4 for my FET but way sooner for my fresh to sync up with my donor, Lupron shots for a couple weeks, estrogen patches mid-cycle to build the lining (and thru week 10) and prometrium (progesterone suppositories) 3x a day starting 5 days before transfer (and through week 12). My doc stopped doing antibiotics so after my first transfer I didn't have to do those again.

My donors drugs I can't recall, only that I paid around $3100 for them.

It totally depends on what protocol your donor gets put on. Usually it's BCP for a few weeks then stimming for 10-15 days. All the protocols/drugs are the same for a typical IVF cycle.

I think it often depends on what and how much your own body produces... I took lupron for a few weeks, then started estrogen injections.  That was twice a week until transfer.  I also did progesterone injections.

I took BCP, delestrogen and PIO for both my DE cycle and later FET. I have never taken lupron.

My partner @Manada took a fresh transfer of embryos produced by my eggs so we were, for the purposes of the meds, doing a donor egg cycle. She she started BCPs long enough before the start of my cycle to make sure she'd get a period before I did. She started estrace (6 pills a day, then down to 4 because her lining was doing well) on her cycle day 2 or 3. She continued estrace until my retrieval (about 3 weeks, because she was about a week ahead with her cycle) and then added PIO the day of my retrieval. She continued estrace and PIO and will until the end of the first trimester. She also took three days of an antibiotic leading up to the transfer. Oh and she took baby aspirin starting when she started estrace.
