Ugg! The hearing I was coming back for, which was scheduled in April, just got bumped to late May when I will be 34-35 weeks pregnant. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be willing to fly across the country at that point (I was coming back to prep the partner who would be arguing, but I can technically do that remotely). Now I feel like I need to eat 14 cheese steaks before I leave this afternoon!
Forgot to add... Thanks for the tip on Jim's! I went to Jim's for lunch on my last day, and tried it with provolone instead of whiz. I actually liked Jim's and Sonny's pretty equally. I liked the bread better at Jim's and I liked the meat slightly better at Sonny's. I liked the cheeses kind of equally (I could see myself being in the mood for either). It was a balmy 36 when I walked to Jim's so I even took my coat off at one point. Amazing what feels warm after "feels like 6 degrees."
Not pictured: the mayo I slathered on later ;-)
Now... What to eat in San Diego... I want to try another cheesesteak place!
