I'm not great with putting things onto words but here's my med free birth story.
Friday Feb 28 at 11am my water broke, since this is baby #6 I figured better call the doctor even though labour has not started. I tested +GSB so need to head in since I have gone fast before. Well we get there and hooked first round of antibiotics, walked around the floor all day, showered, nip stimulation, and bounced on the ball finally got some contractions about 5:30pm. They were all over the place, and not very strong.
About that time the OB came in whent over all the risks of waiting too long with the water being broke, asked if I wanted to jump start things with Pitocin. I wanted to wait iit out. Things did start getting much more intense about 11pm from time to time it look like we would have our boy on Friday, but once again things slowed down.
Things were pretty easy till about 1ish then it kicked in. Lucas wasn't lined up perfect which is probably why things stayed slow. We decided to re position in bed a bit and BANG! He got into place and then the urge to push hit. I went from 8 to 10 in an instance.
So pushing was finally happening and there was no way out. My body took over, Lucas decided that it would be a good idea to take his hand and put it up to his face to come out. So his elbow ended up causing a second degree tear. The Ob tried to help me slow down to stretch but I couldn't and had to push.
I think I got it all, here he is
