J now has 5 teeth but he's starting to grind them together. Is this normal? Something I should stop him from doing?

LO was doing it too when she first got her top teeth but has stopped. I think they are just getting used to the feeling of their teeth.
ETA I would always just distract her when she started doing it. Mainly because the sound is so awful!

I asked my dentist before for DD1 and he said it was normal. I just find the sound horrible. DD1 eventually grew out of it but will do it in her sleep from time to time. LO has just started this.
I wouldn't worry about it
