How is weight loss going? How much weight is still hanging on? (I'm actually interested in this as a healthcare provider, and was curious about the stats 4-5 months after baby.)
Because we need another poll on this page 230 votes
I am hawt. No weight left from baby.
I am my pre-preg weight, but shaped differently.
50 and up left (from this pregnancy)
I stopped keeping track..I plan to have babies soon (23Melissa28 and others who are still nameless)
Weight? Am I supposed to lose it?

I've had this happen to a couple people I know. My sister went from a size 3 to a 0 after having her second kid.
I have not done anything to try to lose weight, just don't have time right now. I am probably up 30lbs still. After the kids and I get adjusted from the time change this weekend I will try to figure out a time to start working out for the first time in years.

But I can't have cheese and my kid doesn't STTN so you win some, you lose some, right?

I just wanted to chime in from #teamfatkidforlyfe to remind us all that it's only been 4-5 months since we had our babies. It took 10 months to gain, and it'll likely take that long to lose. But goddamn it, you're all amazing, beautiful (as evidenced by Mommy & Me Mondays), intelligent women -- DO NOT let yourselves be defined by a number on a scale.
I gained 60 pounds, lost 25 right away in baby, placenta, and retained water. I have been working on losing weight for 2 months now and have only managed to drop 7 more pounds.
I am kind of curious to see what happens when I am not pregnant or nursing just to see what I look like. Since I have been bfing or pregnant since 2009 (minus a small break that I remember quite fondly).
