I noticed DD had little pieces of white flakes on her lips so I looked at her crib (it's white) an'd sure enough she is chewing on it. Any way to get her to stop??
I would put something like these on there...that link shows the side ones but they make one for the long front rail too. That's what we used when DS briefly chewed the crib. I'm not sure if that's the brand we have but it was the same thing and they worked great. They make a "gummy" kind too which I haven't heard good things about, but don't have personal experience with.

You can make your own no-sew fleece crib rail for a couple of bucks. Google it to get examples of what I'm talking about. A yard and a half of fleece should be plenty.
i posted something like this not too long ago. so what we ended up doing was just taking a couple of his old receiving blankets and wrapping them around the rails.
