Week 5 and Breasts No Longer Sore

Hello all.  I am new to the board.  I am currently 5w3d.  I have been lurking on the board and haven't posted an intro yet,but would like to pose a question.

My breast had been quite sore and swollen for the past 3 or 4 days.  I woke up today and nothing.  I am freaking out and was wondering if this was common.  My first u/s is not until 3/13 and I don't know HOW I will make it.  

I haven't really had any other symptoms yet and I am hoping a m/c is not in my future.

10/10 ER 7 Mature Eggs
10/11 Fertilization Report-nothing fertilized so a rescue ICSI performed.  4 eggs were fertilized.  
10/13 3 embryos transferred on 3 days(7 cell, 5 cell and 4 cell)
10/25 Beta BFN
IVF #2 Start Stims Feb 2014
2/7 ER 14 Embies...9 Fertilized
2/12 ET 2 excellent grade.  2 frosties
2/21/2014 First BFP EVER....ELATED
3/28/2014 Miscarried.  DNC performed that day. 8w6d
6/20/2014 FET 2 frosties.  
6/30/2014 SO HAPPY...BFP #2
7/21/2014 First u/s.  Low heart rate. Scheduled 2nd u/s in 1 week. 6weeks
7/28/2014 U/S #2...no heartrate.  Scheduled DNC for 8/1/2014 7weeks
2/15/2015 IVF #3  E2 Protocol ER 12 eggs retrieved.  ICSI'd 9.  
2/20/2015 2 transferred. None to freeze.  
03/2/2015 Beta 4 - CP 
4/2015 IVF #4 E2 Protocal
4/19/2015 ER 13R, 11M, 10F w/ICSI
4/24/2015 ET 2 blasts none to freeze

    the presence of symptoms or the lack of symptoms sadly give no indication to how viable a pregnancy is. I know its hard to wait but thats really all you can do. GL with your u/s.

    I agree with PP. PG symptoms can come and go. I only had sore breasts for about 1 day in 1st tri. Now in 2nd tri they occasionally ache. Good luck!

    My boobs were crazy sore all of week 5. This week it comes and goes. I also changed bras and this seems to help. FX for healthy u/s.
    Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    Yup, symptoms were all over the place, coming and going.  FX for your ultrasound - try not to worry.

    Yup, VERY common.  I freaked out about this, too around 5/6 weeks.  I'm just about 24 weeks now and I still have days where I want to rip my boobs off they're so sore, and other days where they seem to have shrunk a bit and I have no pain at all.  It's normal for all symptoms to come and go as they please.

    As for making it to your first u/s....just POAS everyday, that's what I did no joke LOL.  As crazy as it may sound, it actually eased my mind and gave me enough reassurance that I stopped worrying so much.  Just a suggestion :-)

    I feel the same way!  I am 5 weeks, 5 days, and can't wait for my next u/s and beta #3 on Wednesday to confirm everything is still progressing.  Not that I'm wishing for morning sickness, but something to reassure myself that I am pg still!  Although, I am craving Pizza!  I don't know if it's because I have been eating crap lately, or it's a pregnancy craving!  :)  Hoping it's a pregnancy craving!!!

    Yup. I noticed the other day that my breasts aren't bothering me so much anymore. They're still larger, they just feel more "relaxed" than they felt last week.... I read somewhere that around 5/6/7 weeks your body adjusts to the initial hormone blast and you get a few days reprieve before they really start to hit hardcore again........

    Partner IVF#1a- December 2013 - H's eggs, my Ute - CANCELLED due to low response
    Partner IVF #1b - February 2014 - H's eggs, my Ute - ER February 4 (10 retrieved, 3 fertilized), Transfer Feb 7 of one Grade 1 and one Grade 2 day 3 embryos.  1 - Day 3, Grade 1 frosty saved.   BFP - 6dp3dt via FRER, Beta #1 - 110, Beta #2 175, Beta #3 - 348, Beta #4 - 2222!, Beta #5 - 4255.  Ultrasound (6w1d) - 2 heartbearts!  

    We lost our beautiful Twin baby girls on June 18, 2014.  Tavin Sara and Casey Elizabeth were born at 21 weeks gestation and were absolutely beautiful, precious, amazing babies.  We miss our daughters every day and love them with all our hearts.

    All my symptoms came and went in the first trimester. Still hard not to worry!
