WFD (Sunday)?

I tried the grain free pizza @mufflerlove posted in the new recipe thread but it didn't work out so well.

wax paper =/= parchment paper

Also I did not oil it enough and it is stuck to the wax paper :(

So I may have to find something else to eat!

  • We'll probably just snack while watching the oscars. I made a dill dip and I got stuff to make parfaits but other than that I'm not sure what we'll eat.

I think we might just have soup and salad. Or maybe switch one of those out to sandwiches. Not sure yet.

LO already ate. He had an asparagus, pear, and apple puree with a little oatmeal on the side.
  • Fire catfish, roasted red potatoes, hush puppies and a salad :). My house smells amazing to me right now!

  • @BC&LM I love how you always include your LO's meal :)

Mine had chickpeas and peas.  It didn't go over well so we had to hide it in pear & mango puree!

  • Steak with sautéed onions and bok choy salad.
  • Fried shrimp and fish with baked sweet potato fries.

B had peach oatmeal and loved them.

  • I made potato soup. I made banana cream poke cake as well. I just gave DD a couple potatoes from the soup cut up

  • I just had a pork chop and some kale salad. I did read a great tip about freezing leftover chicken broth in ice cube trays for later use. I am paranoid about bad chicken broth so I always tossed the leftovers.
