What's good, ladies?

Yesterday was super busy but I got a super cute new rug for the living room and them had friends over for dinner. They have a daughter two months younger than C, but they played really well together and it was nice to be social. It also meant we cleaned house and I love it when its this clean!!

My DH will be home on Saturday! I haven't seen him since Dec 13(other than face timing). I can't wait for him to feel her kick and see how big my belly is! Granted I send him pictures but I don't think they do the bump justice. I am spending my last full day alone relaxing on the couch watching trashy tv, oh and bumping of course.

Eta because my phone's autocorrect hates me.

Good: I just recieved my OldNavy order of maternity clothes, Loving the activewear full panel pants. They're conforming and define the bump without choking it. My kids are driving me crazy, but I feel blessed that they are healthy enough to be able to drive me to madness. Sono on Wednesday to see little girl. And DH has been home this weekend with me and the kids, so we've been able to get a lot done and have some quality family time. Lots to be thankful/grateful for

We made an offer on the house we wanted and they accepted yesterday!  Now for the planning, the packing, and moving madness.

I sunny today because yesterday kicked ass. DH and I were out and about all day, and we just got to relax a little and hang out and do fun things. It's turning my pregnant grumpy around.

I'm going out into the beginnings of snowmageddon 3.0 to pick up the crib that just arrived at the store. Is it sad that we are at the point this winter where it's like "2 inches on the ground and can't see the street? Whatever, we can make it to the store,-no problem!" But I'm ridiculously excited about the crib and I can't put it off!

Sunny Sunday is that it's actually a beautiful sunny day here. I'm sitting on the deck, enjoying my coffee, watching the pups play, feeling my little girl kick away, and not caring about any worries right now. First I've felt peaceful in a while.

@ahastin1 sorry, I'm not intending to rub it in anyone's faces. And when you all are enjoying the weather in August and I'm stuck inside because it's too dang hot you feel free to rub it in mine. it's just so quiet and nice and I could just sit here all day.

DH and I spent more hours at the car dealership than planned/expected yesterday... Not so 'sunny', but what is 'sunny' and very exciting is I ended up driving home my new, very 'practical family car', a Subaru Forester!! I haven't owned a new car in over 12 years! I'll miss my cute little VW Jetta... She took me through many of the fun, single days of my early 20s and early 30s, all the way into marriage, puppy and pregnancy! Now our 93lb 'little guy', a baby+carseat and DH will ride comfortably, and maybe someday I'll graduate to carpool mom!?! Today I want to drive drive drive!

In a grumpy pregnancy state this week I declared my home office "too white" to work. I immedietly made a Pinterest board for my office makeover. My DH went out to Home Depot yesterday, spent two hours fighting traffic and waiting in line at the paint counter, and came home with "Fresh Mint" paint. He moved all of my heavy, unorganized crap to the middle of the room and started painting as soon as LO went to bed. I spent the morning online browsing for ideas while he did the dishes. The mint, coral, and turquoise theme is happening!! I'm so excited :-)

My sunshine is waking up to NO alarm this morning with DH. It is raining outside so a lazy day on the couch is in front of us. Perfect

DH and I have been extremely productive the past two days.  I stayed home from work on Friday and managed to get most of my office put back together (DH just finished painting it) and actually organized.  We should be able to move DH's desk in there today.

Yesterday we worked on the sets for the musical I'm directing.  It was exhausting, but it feels so good to have it almost finished.

So even though I am tired, I feel like we got a lot done this weekend and it's worth it!

My sunny Sunday - DH and I slept in and snuggled in bed with the pup all morning. He made homemade waffles for a late breakfast, and then we relaxed for a few hours. He just left to go to work but I have a nice chicken stock not he stove that will become chicken soup, and am looking forward to the oscars tonight. Also, the babe has been moving all day. Such a great feeling.

Holy shit we closed on a house today! Gone are my plans to place the crib in the corner of our tiny one bedroom apt.

My sunshine...I got a first class upgrade from MI to AZ (4 hour flight) for my last business trip for work. It's pretty bittersweet but I get to enjoy 70's and 80's all week. I'll take it!

My husband surprised me at work with beautiful roses then took me to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant sooo tasty! Now we're sitting on the couch watching the Oscars....he is always my sunshine

I'm visiting my sister and got to be here for one of my nephews first birthday party today I used to live halfway across the country from them so I'm so glad I live close enough to be a part of things like this now. And hopefully if the weather cooperates, I'll be able to go back home tomorrow and see my husband.
