Ok I know it's early for most of you, but I'm thinking there's some pregsomnia chicks still up.

My omg moment just came when I realised that my maternity leave begins next month. Actual next month. My last day is april 11th. This isn't even funny.

Joining the insomnia crowd... Plus I woke up with a freakin sty in my eye that hurts like the devil. My "Shit Hot Real" moment came yesterday when my Target registry told me I was 60 days from my due date, plus I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead to begin with! Holy buckets I'm gonna be in charge of another human!

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm literally crossing the days off on a postit in my drawer at work. I can't wait to kick back for a short while. The thing that gets me is that d-day is just 3 weeks after I finish! 3 weeks is nothing! They still haven't recruited my replacement yet. I'm not going back until January so they need to get someone to cover, as I'm the only person who does my job.

I'm ridiculously excited that I only have 6 more weeks of dealing with my boss though. He's a douchebag and likes to blame me for things I haven't done. Can't wait to meet my new little boss. I'm used to dealing with tantrums and I'd rather deal with poop and spit up than office politics.

My last piece of nursery furniture was purchased yesterday, and my shower is next week. That means my house will soon be filled with real baby accoutrements. Also my niece turns 10 today. Not that it has to do specifically with my baby, but it's making me feel really old, because she's the younger of my niece and nephew. Built-in babysitters!

I have a few... Met with HR so my countdown to leave can start. We have a wedding in three weeks. When I got pregnant, I said I will be about 7.5 months at N&Rs wedding. My next door neighbor who was 12,weeks ahead of me just had her girl. This is my last week of the 20s.

My mom came over yesterday to paint the nursery, so now we can finally start moving the furniture in. Shit got real when DH turned to me and said, "can you believe this is our daughter's room?"

Holy crap! I'm going to have a daughter in 2 months!!!!

My niece was born 9 weeks early. She is now in fourth grade. Not sure if my shit is real or not, but I looked at my sister yesterday and said, "If Samantha come our now, she will be the same amount early as yours was..."

My "shit just got real" moment was when I opened this thread and read the first post and realized it is now March. I'm due May 4th and my son was born a week early. This baby could very well BE BORN NEXT MONTH! Shit, I should probably buy a mattress for his crib...

I (finally) finished the letters for Olive's name in her nursery. Now when people ask what the theme is, I can actually answer with a slight bit of confidence: Colors. 

Speaking of which, I just checked my registry and people have bought stuff for my shower in 3 weeks.

It's definitely getting real.

I finally set a date to begin mat leave. And we did a 3D ultrasound and saw the chubbiest cheeks ever. We both fell in love.

Shit got real yesterday - it was my baby shower and now I'm sure he already has move clothing than me! (And maybe more fashionable too)
Also we start our prenatal classes today ... Yikes!

I met with HR on Friday about when I'll be leaving work. I only have 8 more weeks til they'll take these babies out of me if they don't come before that! 8 weeks is nothing!! There is now less time between now and when I'll deliver (8 weeks) as there was between Christmas and now (10 weeks). Wasn't it just Christmas? I can't believe I'm going to have 2 babies in just a little whole. Cue the panic!!

I don't have the insomnia but I do have the wake up ALL NIGHT LONG to pee! I'm done work April 19 (can't hardly frickin wait!!!) and I realized that he could be here in as early as 8 weeks!!!!!!!!! I'm a FTM and I'm SOOO excited!

My shit got real moment was looking at my calendar-- in march I have:

-appointments every 2 weeks
-an ultrasound
- 2 baby showers
- child birthing class 3 nights
- a one night breastfeeding class
- a taking home baby essentials class
- an appointment to pre register with the hospital

This made me tear up! Stupid hormones lol. I only have 10 weeks left. That just seems so crazy and next Saturday is my shower. I remember when it all felt so far away! Oh and I know I haven't posted in a while but I have been on here. Just had a busy week with conferences!

I've had a couple this week:
- seeing the "90 days left to go!" on my ticker. Something about that number makes it seem so tangible and so close. Freaked me out.
- scheduled my first actual OB appointment (have been seeing my GP up until this point)
- started filling out mat leave paperwork and am now deciding on my last day of work

I'm sure there will be even more next week since we start our prenatal classes on Wednesday!

I had several it just got real moments yesterday, trying to get everything ready forDD birthday party next week ( she will one.yay!) When my mom told me she was gonna help set stuff up since i will be eight months pregnant and they didnt want me on a ladder.also when looking at my ticker changer i noticed 9 weeks till my csection if Lo doesnt start coming sooner.9 weeks we seriously got to get the bedroom finnished.

We crossed off a bunch of to dos: found a new place to live where I will be happy staying home on Mat leave tops the list. As a result, nursery furniture is ordered, bedding purchased, clothes were inventoried so I actually could figure out what we had stashed away, travel system purchased. Can't wait for April 1 when we move in!!

I'm in the denial camp too. C'mon guys, I still have 10 weeks left! Lots of time to clean out closets, kick Shorty out of her crib, buy her a toddler bed, deep clean the house, buy this boy some clothes, get him a swing, pick out a double stroller, buy some nursing bras, go through Shorty's clothes, etc etc....
Lots of time left... just breathe...

I put together the crib/changing table on friday. DH came home from work saying "shit, we're really going to have a baby in there in a few weeks." 

At my OB appt on monday she wanted to schedule my next 3 appts including the growth u/s in 6 weeks. How did I get to be talking growth u/s already?! I feel like it was yesterday we were talking anatomy scan. 

I keep saying, "oh I'll wash all the clothes at ~32 weeks, oh I'll buy nursing tanks around ~32 weeks, etc. 32 weeks has been this far off week that i keep referencing too when I need to get my shit together by. Now I realize that week is only 3 weeks away...

I was at the hospital I'm going to deliver at to see my friend who had her baby this week. She said to me "the next time I'm here will be to visit you when you have your baby!"

1) My sister sent out the baby shower invitations about a week ago....we received our first gift in the mail yesterday. Ahhh!!!

2) We had an U/S on Friday that showed the placenta has moved so no schedule c-section which means, we actually have to think about packing a bag and coming up with a plan depending on where I go into labor. This is nuts!

We're probably going to have a snow day tomorrow. I'm going to spend the extra time putting together binders of plans for my maternity-leave sub. She subbed for me on Thursday when I was out for my 3-hour GTT, and she did a great job.

The nursery is done! The go bag is packed! Last birth class is this Tuesday! Only 4.5 more weeks until our twins are at term! They could come any day now! Holy moly I can hardly believe it. I'm getting so excited to finally meet them.

I started to put the baby's room together yesterday and realized when LO starting putting her baby dolls in the baby gear that it would be happening with a real baby soon....

That and the insane contractions I've been having on and off for two days made me realize that 9 weeks from now I had my LO.....

This week I turn 29 weeks and as thy want to induce around 39 due to lupus that means I only have about 10 weeks left! Ack! And in 3 weeks I start weekly ob and MFM appts...and in 2 weeks our once a week childbirth classes at the hospital start. And my baby shower is at the end of the month. She's really going to be here soon!

I flipped over the calendar to March today and saw that I had written in I'd be 32 weeks on Wednesday. Holy crap! Due date is two months away!   DH also finished painting the nursery and now we just have to wait for carpet installation in two weeks.  I can't believe it's getting so close.

I just had another one happen: I registered for my gazillion dollar licensure test in April. I had to get it done before baby comes, and I realized that April was the soonest test. It's cool, I'll just be 8 months pregnant taking a 4.5 hour test. No biggie.

I just noticed my linea nigra down my stomach yesterday. Just a reminder of how quick baby is coming.

Went to Wal-mart the other night and took DS with me to get him out of DH's hair (it was a hard day for both of them). As I was putting him in the cart, I realized that soon (in 10 weeks) I will no longer be able to go shopping by myself or that DH (or I) will not have any free time if the other is shopping.

I was at my nephew's baptism and talking to a lady with a 1 yr old. She said she was shocked when she came 4 weeks early. I have only 9 weeks left, but only five if he did come that early! I start birthing classes this week as well.

Both my husband and I were 3 weeks early when we were born, and since my due date is the very beginning of May I gave myself a deadline of the end of March to get everything ready. And it's March now! WHAT?!

Also, my family baby shower is next weekend and DH just finished laying the flooring in the nursery and is building the crib and changing table tomorrow!
