This is my Saturday evening- someone is napping as I am watching Walking Dead...
I really tried to like The Walking Dead. I feel like I'm the only person in the world who can't get into it!
DS and I went to a birthday event for Dr. Suess today. Now he's sleeping and DH is working on his snowmobile. I had some wine and just got finished watching Grey's.
Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping and I'm re-committing to my gym goal. My parents are supposed to come over at some point too. I also have tons of work paperwork that I always end up doing Sunday night.

The first time I tried to watch it I didn't get into it, this time I stuck it out and I am hooked. I am jealous that your parents are stopping by. We live 2.5 hours away from my family, I knew if we lived closer my Mom would come by all the time.

I got into it right away ... but somewhere in season 3 it had a lot of episodes that were just slow but they always end the episodes with a cliffhanger and I have to watch the next one! I also find it a really stressful show to watch but I'm too into the characters to not watch so you dodged a bullet IMO
Ha ha ha! Part of my problem is that the TV is like a sleeping pill to me. As soon as I get settled in, I fall asleep

That must be hard to be so far away from your family. My parents are about 20 minutes away. DH's mom and grandma live next door, sometimes that's a little too close

I agree about next door being a little too close.... 10 minutes away would be perfect! It is hard, but I chose to live where I do so it's sort of my fault. I would love for my parents to move up, but sadly it will never happen.... they have too much in their town to move. I would never move back, because I enjoy my city too much too, so we're stuck.
We have had a lazy weekend waiting on our newest winter storm to hit. I should clean up around the house but I just don't feel like it.
I made so much fun of my husband for watching yet another stupid zombie show. Well, I had to eat my words. At the end of The Walking Dead season one I watched an episode and got hooked. Watched the marathon that weekend and never looked back. Damn zombies.
I am STILL watching it! I am almost to the end of season 3. Woo! I am upset though, Directv doesn't have the entire season 4 on demand!
