dandruff question

Not really bad related but mom related I guess, lol. I am noticing how dry my scalp is. Not sure if it is the winter or the hormones or both. I am using Head & Shoulders shampoo. Anything else I can do? I have dark hair so I am noticing it alot more. Yuck!

Head N shoulders did nothing for me. I used a tea tree oil shampoo and this winter seems to be almost nil.

Do you remember the brand? I am sure I can look into it. I feel like Head and Shoulders hasn't changed the situation.

I saw that Walgreens had a MillCreek brand but it didn't say anything specific to dandruff control it said Bio..something. Is that what you used?

Just one note: There have been some reports cautioning against using sodium laureth sulfate during pregnancy, which is in a lot of shampoos - but especially dandruff shampoos. One of the natural ones might be a better option. 

I have a dry, itchy spot on the back of my scalp, and I have been using a liquid dry scalp treatment for that (sold at Walgreens, don't know the brand). It's helped a lot.

I appreciate that info. I had no idea!

I had the same issue and bought tea tree shampoo and conditioner from trader joes. Price was great and it's helped out a ton.
