Toenail painters

How do you paint LO's toenails? I'm not that neat when I do my own and hers are so tiny! We did it today just for something to do and there's a lot to neaten but obviously she doesn't have that kind of patience.
So do you get the nail art pens? Are you just awesome with the brush? Do you have past experience painting mountain scenes on grains of rice?

  • I use Sally Hansen Instant Dry. If I start blowing on them right after painting its good to go in about 30-45 seconds.

  • I do 1 light coat and tell her to blow. I also paint her toes while she is standing. She sometimes tries to walk off, but most times she stands there wondering what the heck I'm doing. It helps if I make a spectacle about how amazingly pretty her toes are.

  • It has never even occurred to me to paint her nails.    I think I fail at being the mom of a girl.
