Help interpreting SA results

In early February we called DH's Urologist's office for the results of his semen analysis. All they would tell us over the phone, without an appointment was that his count was low (10.50 million/mL) and that his sample was "markedly abnormal". We finally got a printout of the complete results and I'd like some help understanding them. The results don't say what the asterisks and "L"mean but I am assuming "L" means "low" and the asterisks indicate areas of concern?

 SPVOL: 2.0mL range=1.5-5mL 

 SPVIS: NORMAL range=NORMAL 

 SPLIQ: >30 minutes* range=<30 minutes SPPH: 8.0 range=>7.0 

 SPCT: 10.50 L range=60-150 million 

 SPMOT: 39% L range=>60%

 SPPROGMOT: 28% L range=>40% 

 SPNOMOR: 90% range=>70% 

 SPABMOR: Giant Head* range=none seen 

WHO classification used for sperm morphology 

 SPWBC: few* range=none seen 

 SPRBC: none seen range=none seen 

 SPBAC: rare* range=none seen

His volume of 2ml is good. His motility at 39% is a bit low,next it lists forward progression motility 28% which is also low. But it appears his morph is good. And yes his count is the most concerning. I'm sorry, MFI is always hard to hear.
