No! No!

DD is 2 (25 months) and pretty verbal. She will sometimes speak to us and the dog in a very harsh tone, such as no mommy!! It sounds so rude and mean but I haven't come up with a good way to get her not to use such a harsh tone. We talk about using nice words, etc but I'm just struggling and frustrated. We try really really hard not to yell but I can't say I never do. I will put some of the blame on letting her watch some of the movie Annie (miss Hannigan is mean), and I would assume daycare.

Any tips, parenting?

We say "try again" a lot in our household. The kids know they need to use better manners or a different tone/attitude when they hear that.

DS is constantly saying "I want this", "I want that"... the I WANT thing drives me crazy. I say to him, "try again" or "if you would like something how should you ask?", "use your manners, please".... which seems too complicated for a kid as young as yours.

I've also pulled out my grandma's line of "people in Hell want ice water".

Good luck! It's just all about patience and consistency at this point. I think.
