    Hi Girls!
I'm just slightly over 31 weeks today. Baby is kicking and moving like crazy. Heartburn has subsided a bit.
I had my follow-up perinatal appointment and baby looks to be very healthy. With my panorama test results, and the appointment we just had, the doctor feels pretty confident that the nuchal fold measurement at 20 weeks was not a strong indicator of downs.
I'm going to try to post the ultrasound picture. We haven't had one shot of baby's face until that appointment. It was crazy!

Next appointment with OB is on Wednesday.

QOTW: I cannot wait for some sushi (like REAL sushi, not california rolls) and a blue moon beer in a chilled cup with an orange slice. :)

Edit: Clearly I don't know how to post images... :(

  • Hi MJC and 3T ladies!

    1. Any appointments? Updates? I'm 34 weeks today. Had a routine appt on Wednesday and LO is head down (yay) and doing great. Had my shower last weekend and got some wonderful gifts (and lots of darling, tiny clothes). Nursery is almost finished and stocked!

    2. How are you feeling? Honestly? Like crap. I cna no longer do normal things like bend over, lift up my legs, get out of bed, roll over, etc. I'm exhausted and wake up like 3 or 4 times a night. My hips hurt and I waddle like a cartoon character. Ok, vent over. :-)

QOTW: What is the first indulgence not allowed during pregnancy that you are going to indulge in once baby arrives? :) Really the only thing I've abstained from during this pregnancy is alcohol. I've eaten sushi, lunch meats, and drank caffeine. I would love a big ol' glass of wine or champagne after LO arrives, but I feel like I'll be so tired and my tolerance will be so low that just a little will knock me out. :-)

  • This is my last check in! I had my last OB appointment today and my AFI went from 6.5 to 11! Before it dipped to 6.5 it was 8 two weeks ago. I have been drinking 80 to 100 oz of fluid a day and it paid off. I also think it was so low last Friday because I had to fast from midnight until appointment time. Csection is scheduled for Thursday and I only have 2.5 days left at work. I am exhausted these days and having strong BH contractions. Just praying I make it to Thursday and don't go sooner. QOTW: wine and hot tub!!!

Hello, hello!  About 29 1/2 weeks - I'm counting that half!  Will be 30 on Monday, with b/g twins, Lillian and Liam.

    1. Any appointments? Updates?

After the GD diagnosis, I've been sticking to the meal plan and it's running 25 pts too high, so I think they'll put me on meds when I go in Wednesday.  EDIT:  Just got call from the Dr, I start meds TONIGHT.  Yuck.  I'm supposed to go out of town and I hear that it can cause diarrhea for the first few days!  I do have our first baby shower back home on Sunday, so I'm pretty excited!  Babies are also kicking all the time - when it's not one, it's the other.  I love it, except when they're using my bladder for a personal trampoline.

    2. How are you feeling?

I'm going to have to agree with @lisabugg444  Pretty miserable - trying not to complain, because I asked - no - begged, and even paid for this.  :)  Will be so excited to meet the LOs, but I feel awful..uggghhh.  Can't believe I'll probably get to meet them in like, 6 weeks!  Ahhh!

QOTW:  What is the first indulgence not allowed during pregnancy that you are going to indulge in once baby arrives?  :)

Believe it or not, whitening my teeth.  I agree that a Blue Moon (especially the summer one from 2012) would be amazing - but I'd really, really like to whiten my teeth.

  • 30 weeks today and could not be more excited...I'm out of the 20s and starting to feel a lot less desperate than when I first got admitted to the hospital at 24+weeks (if that makes any sense).

    1. Had a growth scan yesterday and they are 2 lb 12oz and 3lb 2oz, growing great!  There is a possibility that they will send me home at 32 weeks on bed rest, just hoping I can have some time at home before they come...even if its on bed rest :)

    2. Since I've been laying around for 2 months, I get tired easily and my back hurts just sitting in a regular chair for more than a couple minutes...a little worried about my lost muscle strength when they get here...but I'll get through it.

QOTW: Wine, just.need.wine....one glass will prob be plenty and I'm looking forward to it!

Hi! I will be 32 weeks tomorrow. I had a growth scan today (switched from Monday since more snow is on the way) and he is measuring at 4 lbs. they said that is on track and I don't need to come back unless they put me on meds for GD. So far, I have been able to control it with diet so hopefully that continues. I was surprised that they aren't doing non stress tests but we'll see what happens.

I am feeling alright. I am kind of miserable on the GD diet or maybe I am just miserable in general but I always feel hungry! I don't sleep well but I really shouldn't complain- I am glad to be here!

On another note- our furniture got delivered today and I am so excited to get home and see his room! We also put a deposit in a new car because neither of ours is that baby friendly. Well, mine would be if we didn't also have a 100 lb dog to cart around! Exciting weekend to look forward to!

Qotw. Soft pretzels, cookies, cake, wine and just lots of chocolate. I have only been in this diet for 2 weeks and I have actually been dreaming about cupcakes. (Not that I normally eat a lot of them!)

Sorry for the long post! jeez!

    Have a great weekend!

  • @monimu13 - I'm so glad you and the babies are doing better!  I do hope you get to go home soon.  I can't imagine how tough bedrest would be for so long, but I know you would say it's totally worth it.
@daiseydooda - I hope you get to meet her soon!!!  :)
@PhillyJ33 - they put me on the GD diet, too - which changed nothing in my levels, because it was pretty much how I was already eating.  I have to start meds tonight.  :(  But cupcakes do sound amazing - especially red velvet and cream cheese frosting?!?  Hold me back.

  • 1. Any appointments? Updates? 32w,1d with twins. I have another appointment next week and start my weekly NSTs then.

    2. How are you feeling? The pregnancy belt has been helping my SPD and back pain this week. I've also made it a real point to not be on my feet very much which helps too (even though I've still developed permanent cankles.) I'm getting VERY close to hitting my wall.

QOTW:  What is the first indulgence not allowed during pregnancy that you are going to indulge in once baby arrives? I don't know! Sushi, red wine, or a sandwich from Jimmy Johns.

  • I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow and had an u/s with the MFM yesterday. Baby girl is measuring 4lbs, 5oz (about 65th percentile), head down and everything looked healthy and good. So relieved! MFM is still planning on having me induced at 39 weeks. She is having me do the 24-hour urine collection due to a small amt of protein found in my urine. Blech! I am currently procrastinating picking up my urine jug from the lab!

What I most want is a super hot bath. And maybe a margarita or martini.

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!

  • I will be 32 weeks on Monday and start twice weekly NSTs and fluid checks.  Baby B is breeched so my OB/MFM had me schedule a C-section between 36-37 weeks just in case she doesn't flip.  I am pregnant with mono-di twins and recent research says it is best to deliver between 36-37 weeks.  So as of today I have a C section schedule for Thursday April 3rd.  This makes me so nervous for so many reasons.

I am feeling worse and worse as the pregnancy goes on.  Just uncomfortable and swollen.  Much more than when I was pregnant with DD.

What I want most is Ibuprofen/Motrin.  And I want to be able to enjoy wine without heartburn.  I have had a few sips here and there, but every sip gives me horrible heartburn.

    Ella - 10/19/10
    Julia and Aubrey - 4/3/14

  • 36 weeks 2 days and feeling excited! Aside from the 45% waddle and heartburn, so far so good! I am really hoping that this baby comes on time, or maybe a couple of days early! I have been working easily 12 hours a day with lots of physical work, so I am looking forward to getting that maternity leave started! I have a doctors appointment on Monday and they will do a quick ultrasound to check fluids etc... QOTW: I cannot wait to have some real sushi! I have been craving it so badly these past few months and California rolls just don't cut it!
    **TTC since April 2010**
DH diagnosed with moderate MFI, low everything, me low AMH
3 IUI's and 1 IVF all BFN's, almost gave up hope
June 2013- One last IUI for the heck of it... BFP! Complete shock!
April 2014- Eliana- In Hebrew means The Lord has Answered! Welcome to the world my miracle baby!

September 2016- Surprise BFP without medical assistance! New Baby due June 2017!

  • Hi ladies!  I am 39 weeks today.  I can't believe we only have just about a week until we finally get to meet our baby girl.  At my appointment last week, the OB said my cervix is starting to thin out, no dilation yet.  I have been feeling really good.  The carpal tunnel syndrome I developed about a month ago is even starting to subside a bit.  Mostly, I am just starting to get a bit anxious and impatient wondering when labor is going to start!  But DH and I are ready and now just waiting for her.
I am looking forward to a full glass of red wine and eventually going in a hot tub!

  • Hi ladies! Sorry to be late. I'm 30 weeks today, and feeling more and more pregnant every day. We have a US coming up on 3/14 to check my placenta previa, which I'm feeling confident will have resolved itself by 31w5d when we have our appointment, but there is some lingering worry that it won't have. My MW is confident though, so I'm running with that!

I'm feeling good with the exception of swelling feet, heartburn, and some back pain. All told, I think I've felt pretty great through this pregnancy, so I am trying to focus on the positives! I love that baby is a wiggle worm, and he/she is doing all kinds of acrobatics in there! I also have felt hiccups now about 5 or 6 times!

QOTW: I'm so ready for that cocktail or glass of wine. I miss enjoying a glass with DH on quiet Friday nights.

    Congrats on the new babies!

    1. Any appointments? Updates?

I'm going in for appointments every week now.

    2. How are you feeling?

Mostly like crap, with occasional bursts of feeling good, like right after my aquarobics class.  I should just move into my gym's pool for the duration...

Seriously, getting through the work day has become a huge challenge.  I want to keep my maternity leave for mainly after the baby is here, so I am working right up to my due date.  I am starting to get serious anxiety on Sundays thinking about how shitty I am going to feel at work (and I already hate my job, so that doesn't help).  Five more weeks...

QOTW:  What is the first indulgence not allowed during pregnancy that you are going to indulge in once baby arrives?  :)

I'd like a beer, but I live in a booze-free house, so realistically it'll probably be some sushi that SO brings me and a very very hot bath without the guilt.  Maybe at the same time.  Sushi in the bath!
