    Hey ladies,

    Congrats to those moving on to 2nd Trimester and Welcome to the new ladies!

    Everything is going well here just major exhaustion. I don't have another ultrasound for 2 weeks but the doppler I bought is keeping me sane.

    QOTW: I asked this question because DH and I are leaving for a 4 night cruise next thursday. Luckily we live in Fl so we were able to find a good last minute deal. I am thinking this will be our last big vacation for a while. Plus its hard for us to take a vacation just the two of us because my family is in WI and his in MI so we are usually taking vacations to see them up north.

    @LSN8308 - Thank you for agreeing to do the check in next week. I didn't realize when I asked you that you would be moving on to 2nd tri!

    Well I think I finally have some energy again!  Whooo hooo!  I made it to the gym 12 times in February to get my gym credit from my insurance so that makes me feel great!  I'll be 13 weeks on Monday so thinking about making that big facebook announcement this weekend or maybe I'll just keep waiting!  I'm anxious to share but still terrified at the same time. 

    I don't have another doctor appointment for over 2 weeks.  Not a fan of this waiting a whole month thing but I better get used to it!  And no u/s until 20 weeks but at least we will get to hear the HB again.  Maybe I should invest in one of those at home Doppler things.

     

    QOTW:  No babymoon here.  I just started a new job and need to save all my vacation for maternity leave.  There is a street fair/art festival thing in a town about 70 miles away from us so we are going to do that in July and spend the night but that is as close as I'm getting.  I turn 30 this year and our 10 year anniversary is next year so after baby turns one I'm hoping DH and I can go somewhere tropical.  Grandma already agreed to watch baby!

    12 weeks 4 days for me! We had our NT scan on Monday- doing the Integrated screening so we'll have another blood test in 4 weeks and sono in 6. It was amazing to see LO up close and personal- the sono pics look like a baby! Family was thrilled too- Mom called me crying about 10 minutes after I sent the email :) Feeling pretty great overall with some minor heartburn, fatigue and nosebleeds. I've gained nearly 8 pounds so I'm trying to fit in more exercise as I have more energy. Tiny baby bump is beginning to peek out!

    QOTW: I think we're going to try and go on a vacation at some point, though we have a wedding in PA in May that may have to be our "babymoon" as DH is a groomsman.

    Hi ladies! I am new to the board although I have lurked for a couple of weeks and posted an intro on the 2IF checkin. So glad to join y'all! My due date is 10/18, one bean.

    So far I have been feeling fine, just a little bit of nausea like I had with my first pregnancy (I have a 19 month old son). I still find it hard to believe this is really happening, I am trying not to get my hopes up but of course I already love my bean! I am glad I have an RE appt on Monday because it helps to have the reassurance of an ultrasound. We saw the heartbeat last week and it was such a relief!

    QOTW: we had a babymoon the first time around but won't this time, although maybe we will leave Jeffrey at my parents overnight and have a fun night out at some point!

    Hey ladies!
    We are rolling along here. We got to hear the heartbeats on Monday. Baby A is measuring 2 days ahead and had a HB of 155. Baby B is measuring right on time, with a HB of 154. They are already competing! I got in to my OB this week as well. Sounds like they will only let us go to 38 weeks and will only vaginally deliver head down/head down twins. It was so nice to hear everything straight up from my OB! We go back to our RE this Monday for a 3D ultrasound.

    QOTW: We aren't planning a babymoon because I am changing jobs this summer and we are moving. Hopefully we will be able to go back to Michigan for a week or two in July/August to see family, but I'm not even sure that will be happening this year.

    As of today, 8w2d! I had my first initial OB appointment this last Monday, did Pap Smear, bloodwork, body exam, etc. They do ultrasounds between 12-13 weeks and then the big one between 18-20 weeks and thats it. Soooo I called my RE and asked if I could come back in for an ultrasound, to see the little gummi bear and make sure it's growing and still doing what it's suppose to do, they are totally fine with it! And hey, the more I hit my deductible now, the less I'll have to pay when the birth comes ;-) I'll be 9 weeks on Wednesday when I go in! Yay! My next OB appt is on the 19th when I'm 11 weeks.
    No real symptoms, this last Wednesday, when I turned 8 weeks, I felt more stretching/cramping/soreness, nothing to worry about, baby and uterus is just growing! Haven't been sleeping as well lately either. My dreams, wow.. I thought I had crazy dreams before, but I have wild dreams every night, sometimes more than one dream in a night! It's nuts!! Still no cravings or no food aversions or morning sickness!

    Are you planning a "baby moon" (a vacation before the baby gets here)? Not really. I'm considering my family vacation with my mom, sister and brother to Burbank and Palm Springs in May as our baby moon, with trying to buy a bigger, new house, and saving for baby, not a lot of extra funds for a babymoon!

    Hello all!  It's been a while since I've posted but have been really busy at work.  We've made it to 12w5d and still cannot believe this is really happening.  God is so awesome, I just can't say that enough.  We went for our 12 week OB appointment this past Monday which we were really anxious about.  Unfortunately we lost baby A at around 8 weeks, but baby B is perfect.  Measuring 12w4d (3 days ahead) with heartbeat at 162.  We are a little disappointed, but still feel completely blessed that God has given us this opportunity.  We just keep saying that baby A is in heaven playing with its brother.  Our next appointment is late March with anatomy scan April 7th.  Seriously considering a home doppler so that we can hear a heartbeat more often. 

    QOTW:  Are we planning a babymoon?  We haven't really decided yet.  Our 10 year anniversary is this year, so hopefully we will do something for that, but again aren't really sure.

    Hi Jen, I am SO jealous of your cruise! It's maybe also worse because I'm in Michigan and when I woke up this morning it was -15 degrees, actual. BRR!!  Be so glad you're not visiting the in-laws instead! :p
    I have to ask you about this home doppler. I know nothing about it! Can you share any info or tips on picking one out? That might relieve some of my constant stress.

    2/25/14 3rd U/S: perfect 8w1d embryo, 178bpm. 3/6 start spotting. 3/11 10w1d U/S shows no heartbeat. Scheduling D&C. The Stork has forsaken me again.
    IVF #5.2: New in-state RE. Supplement priming for 1.5 cycles prior to start of cycle, including DHEA 50mg (stopped 5/15), CoQ10 200mg 2x/day, L-Arginine- 1000mg 2x/day (stopped 6/5 due to cold sore!), myo-inositol- 2g 2x/day, melatonin- 3mg, and Neevo (prenatal for MTHFR).
    5/16/14 Day 2 bw cycle prior: FSH- 12.22, E2- 38.37, Prog- 1.35, LH- 9.46. 6/2/14 Day 19 bw: Prog- 23
    6/12/14 Baseline: E2- 122.7, Prog- 0.4. 5 follicles in left, 4 follicles in right. Start stims: 375IU Follistim & 150IU Menopur. 6/19 Increase Follistim to 425IU, Menopur still 150IU. 6/18 add Ganirelix. 6/23 Ovidrel trigger SQ. 6/25 ER: 8R, 8M, 5F naturally. Start Medrol & Doxy. 6/26 Start Endometrin. 7/2 Start Lovenox.
    7/8/14 Beta= 137.4 BFP!!! (My first from IVF!) E2- 1109, Prog- >60. Stop CoQ10, myo-inositol, and melatonin. 7/9 2nd Beta= 281.4. TSH- 2.70. Increasing Synthroid to 100mcg daily. 7/24 6w3d u/s measured 6w3d, hb: 121bmp! 8/5 8w1d u/s measured 8w3d, hb: 164bpm! Graduated from RE to OB. Now I just need to find an OB!

    Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to check in in my above post! (pregnancy brain?)
    My 8w1d appt went great! Everything is measuring appropriately and there is a strong heartbeat of 178bpm. In two weeks I have an appointment with a perinatologist. I am also scheduled to do either the Harmony or MaterniT21 test that same day, depending on which my insurance covers. Unfortunately, I've one heck of a time finding out which one my insurance covers- when I call them, THEY don't even know! So frustrating. Now I'm just reading about the Panorama test, so I want to look into that as well. Wishing all of you ladies a nausea-free weekend! :)

    We had been planning a regular old vacation (cruise) in March, since we haven't been able to take one in the last two years that we've been ruled by IVF schedules! But my OB forbids me to get on a boat and leave the country until I am a few weeks into 2nd Tri. That totally throws our whole schedule off (I guess I better start getting used to it!), plus I was hoping to escape this frigid weather and enjoy rocking out my new bikini (while I still can!), especially since I can't drink! We WILL be going somewhere... some time. I just don't know where or when, now! :)

Increasing Synthroid to 100mcg daily. 7/24 6w3d u/s measured 6w3d, hb: 121bmp! 8/5 8w1d u/s measured 8w3d, hb: 164bpm! Graduated from RE to OB. Now I just need to find an OB!

    Hi, ladies! Today I am 8 weeks exactly. So neat to see all those other twin pregnancies!! At my appointment this week I got to see leg and arm nubs! So cool! The HBs were 150 and 152, and growth was right on track. I go back next time for the 10 week appointment, and then I'll be done with PIO!!!!!!!

    On the form that my doc gives me to take to the receptionist, to schedule the next appointment, it said, "Diagnosis: Twin Pregnancy." I took a picture because I thought that was just so cool to see.

    No vacation plans.. just going to try to save as much money as we can in case I end up on bed rest or want to take an extended maternity leave. We've talked about trying to drive to the beach (~6 hours) for a weekend, but I don't know if that will materialize or not. I'm looking into taking some summer jobs (I'm a teacher) just to save up some extra money.

    We had our first U/S today.... 2 beans!
    I'm still in shock. I always said I didn't want twins; we've always put just one embryo in, until this time.
    Baby A had a HB of 144 and was 9.93mm. Baby B had a HB of 134 and was 11.18. I'm 7w1d along with a new due date of 10/16 (well, one was 10/15 and the other was 10/17, so we split the difference).
    I haven't looked to see if any of that was normal but RE said everything looked right where it needed to be.
    Boobs hurt and have some minor nausea but other than that, things are good!
    QOTW: no trip planned yet but I'm sure we'll do something.
    Me-31/DH-32, TTC since Aug 2011, HSG/Blood work all normal 3 SAs - results all over the place. DX Unexplained 
    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 12R/6M/6F, transferred 1 5d blast, no frosties, bfn.   IVF #2:  12R/6M/5F, transferred 1 5dt, 2 frosties, bfn.    Yale EFT test done, mild inflamation - maybe endometrisis?   FET #1: transferred 2 6d blasts, BFP!!!  Beta #1: 606 e2:303, P: 47   Beta #2: 1,817    Beta #3: 8,625

    Very tired and am 8 wks 4 days.  Next ultrasound is set for 3/10 and I can't wait.  The worry creeps in I feel like I had more things "changing" in the first few weeks than now.  Just feel HUGE and need to get some new clothes.  

    QOTW:  No babymoon planned yet.  I teach and am just looking forward to the summer break and time to enjoy off of my feet everyday.  I do plan to start the school year though and am hoping to make it to open house at least.  LOL

    @chucktgirl I searched on the bump and found most people suggested the sonoline b. I looked it up online and got it for $50. I watched a youtube video on fetal dopplers when I got mine and tried it. I couldn't find it the first night we tried but found it the next morning. Hope this helps.

    Hey all! I'm 6 weeks, 1 bean, due on October 23.

    We aren't planning a baby moon. We are hoping to turn our small house into a rental property & buy a bigger house near my family (an hour away) before the baby comes. Fingers crossed!
    Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    My last 1st Tri checkin - how did THAT happen? I am 13w3d. Yesterday was my last day of work (my whole dep't was laid off) and I announced to my coworkers at our farewell luncheon, which was fun. We will tell our friends tonight - we're having a party to celebrate my "funemployment." Hoping for the renewed energy everyone talks about in 2nd tri to kick in soon!

    QOTW: we are hoping to do a long weekend away somewhere a few hours' drive from here (LA), I know there are places that specifically cater to babymoons, so maybe we'll look for one of those. Hubby suggested one weekend in 2nd tri and maybe another in 3rd tri if I'm up for it.

    Attempted IUI #2 (Menopur injections only cycle) better response on the Menopur then the Follistim combination treatment cycle however my cycle was still canceled due to my eggs not maturing and follicles not growing enough on a high dose of Menopur (Re said I could try a cycle of comid + ovidrel  for an IUI) for my second IUI( praying this works for us)

      Clomid + Ovidrel protocol worked still a BFN as a result

    Attempted cycle  Clomid  + Ovidrel protocol for IUI # 3 (Unable to do this cycle due to a cyst)

    IUI # 3 Clomid+ Ovidrel protocol - BFP    Beta #1 752  Beta #2  1536    Beta #3 3797

    EDD 10/27/14

    hi ladies! glad to see everyone progressing along <3 i haven't been able to be as active on the boards which is a weird thing for me, so i feel like i've missed out on a lot lol

    im doing pretty good, 13w3d ..nausea is fading, still taking zofran though and the fatigue is off and on. Again i feel like a broken record but i blame this stupid weather smh. but enough with the excuses, im definitely starting some prenatal work outs this week to help get my energy and strength back

    we announced our pregnancy last weekend to everyone! it was so awesome and i had a great weekend with my family. my NT scan was this week and both munckins are doing really well. the scan looked normal, just waiting on bloodwork to confirm everything is ok. 

    QOTW: i dont think so, we are in the works of closing a deal on our first house so we should be moving in less than a month. i've decided to make the move and the freedom and privacy of our own home our 6 month babymoon lol. i cant wait to walk around with shorts and a tank with no bra and have my own schedule and finally have a chance to be a little selfish before i start focusing on the babies 100%.

    Hi ladies. Last 1st tri check in, so hard to believe! My appetite is coming back, still moreso early in the day. Still sleepy by 8:30pm. And I've just purchased (and used!) Metamucil, so that's happening. Ha! Another OB appt this week, and hospital tour. And MAT21 should be in any day.

    IVF #1.2 August 2013 Stop Lupron Protocol with Human Growth Hormone added. 17R, 14M, 9F (with ICSI), 2 embryos (decent quality - grade 2) transferred on day 3, 2 blasts made it to freeze. Beta 8/26. BFFN :'(

    FET #1 December 2013 Last try! Transferred 2 blasts -- graded 3AB and 4BB. Beta #1 (12/27/13) 530. Beta #2 (12/30/13) 1876. BFP! One bean. EDD 9/3/2014!

    We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!

    We have 1 bean in there and our EDD is 10-11-2014

    QOTW: We hadn't actively planned a baby moon but we did always want to go to Disney World before we had kids, with the BFP that hurried things along so we are going in the end of May!

    Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.

    Me: 37 DH: 38 TTC since 2011 DH normal Dx: DOR (AFC ranges from 6-11; AMH 0.16; FSH 11.9; E2 45) 11/13: 1st IVF converted to IUI due to poor response to high dose antagonist protocol (only 3 follies) = BFN 12/13: IUI #2 letrozole + Bravelle = BFP, beta #1 156, beta #2 196 (diff. lab), beta #3 1037; 1st ultrasound @ 5 wks 1 day = 6 mm gest sac; 2nd ultrasound 6 wks 1 day = tiny flickering heartbeat; 3rd ultrasound 7 wks 1 day 10.3 mm embie growing away!

    Hi - I would love to be added!  I have been waiting to hear the heartbeat (this past Wednesday!) before posting - expecting one baby on October 17th
