If you had a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy

Hey ladies, I went yesterday to my nurse appt at the new OB's office I found. The nurse mentioned because I had the lap that I may have to have a c-section because of it. I know its still early to be thinking about that and that a c-section is something that may come up anyways. I just never thought that because of the lap it would make the c-section more likely. The nurse did say its something to talk to the doctor about it so I plan to in 2 weeks at my next appointment. Just wondering if anyone else had heard this. I am not freaking out just more like oh um ok.
Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.

    I just asked my doc today. He said most likely due to the possibility of your uterus rupturing during labor. My doc is requesting more OR notes on my surgery to give me a more definitive answer. let me know what you find out.
    Started ttc may 2012 Me:32. Dh:31 SA- 4% morphology Fsh:9.1 possibly not always ovulating Hysteroscopy/lLap 7/13 resulted in polyp removal, uterine septum, and mild endo stage 1 removed 10/13 IVF #1 successful

    I was on track for a vaginal birth and I had a hysteroscopy....csection never even came up until I found out baby was breech a few weeks ago

    Mmmm, I had 2 laps and 2 hysteroscopies and this hasn't come up with my OB yet. Guess I should probably ask at my next appt.....

    I had a laparoscopy that turned into a laparotomy (basically the same incision as a c/s without cutting into the uterus) by my current OBGYN and he didn't say a vaginal birth isn't an option. He did say that I'll most likely have a c/s due to having twins, but FX they'll both cooperate and I can deliver naturally. :) It doesn't seem like a good enough reason for a c/s if it's the only factor.

    I had a lap and had planned a vaginal birth. I ended up with a c-section at 6 cm during labor due to an acute placental abruption but was never told I needed one after my lap.
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    I've had lap for an ectopic (tube was removed), but there was no incision made to my uterus. OB/MFM neither one have said that c-section might be warranted.

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    I've had 3 laps for endo and my OB requested my surgical reports to understand the surgeries better. I had 2 fibroids removed during a surgery but since they were in the surface of my uterus, he is comfortable with allowing me to try a vaginal delivery if the twins are in a good position.

    I had a hysteroscopy to remove a polyp and a lap for an ectopic (no incision into uterus and my tube was saved). No one has said anything to me about needing a c-section because of these surgeries, but neither of them  really cut into my ute either so maybe that's why.

    hmm good question. ive had both and that issue hasn't come up yet. i was planning on asking my OB how likely i would be to have a vaginal birth considering its twins. but didnt realize this might be a factor as well.

    I had a lap, and will be delivery vaginally (hopefully) in 9 days!

    I had a lap to check for endo last August came back normal. Nothing has ever been mentioned to me. But now I have a question to add to my list. Was anyone else told that they would have to deliver c-section even if it came back normal?
