Long wait to see doctor.....anyone else????

I've been waiting 30 minutes in the exam room to see my OB! Anyone else feel like they are always waiting an eternity? Thank goodness for smart phones!!!

My OB especially on evening appointments (which she only does once a week) the wait can be over and hour.   When I wasnt preg and was there for an annual exam once, I waited close to 2 hours haha.

My MFM and OB offices are RIDICULOUS.  I've actually walked out before.  I refuse to wait more than an hour for my appointment.. actually, I think even waiting half an hour is absurd, but an hour is my cutoff.  Especially when the time I spend with the doctor lasts all of 2 minutes!  For this exact reason I'm trying to schedule my appointments further apart so I end up having to go less often.. it's such a waste of time sitting in the waiting room when I could instead be home seeing my kids before they go to bed..

However....... I will say.. the thing I really love about my OB and my MFM.. if there is every anything wrong they will find a way to fit you in immediately.. they've done it for me, twice during my previous pregnancies.. so I try HARD and keep that in mind before I go batshit crazy about how long I've been waiting..

My ob came right out and said at my first appointment that he tends to run late and if I need an appointment that is on time to schedule at the beginning of the day or right after lunch.

I waited 1.5 hours for my u/s last week on a full bladder. That was a blast.

This is why I always try to get the earliest appointment in the morning so the wait isn't crazy. When I get an afternoon appointment I'm ALWAYS waiting!!

I ended up waiting 45 mins to see the doctor after the nurse took my stats. I also made sure to arrive the 15 mins early that they ask you too. I think courtesy calls should be made if they are running more than 30 mins behind.
