switching between formula

my mom watches LO a few days during the week, and she purchased target brand formula.  we use infamil infant (with the duck on it). She hasn't given it to LO yet but I'm wondering if it would upset her stomach if we just switched it a few times a week like that...

We switched a few times early on between Similac and Enfamil because I had tons of free samples.  It didn't seem to affect LOs much.

Same. Hasn't seemed to bother her. I just use the free samples

I switched from Similac sensitive to the store brand and LO had HORRIBLE constipation. We switched back and have not had any issues.

We switched back and forth with DD1 between the 3 big name brands and then generic target and walmart without any issue. Every once in awhile she'd have funky poop but nothing major. I definitely recommend buying generic if it doesn't effect LO.

We've switched based on what coupons we have. He's been fine.

I think it all just depends on the LO and their tummy.  Ours has switched between Enfamil, Gerber, and Similac when I had the free samples, and he did fine.  I did notice that he dirtied his diaper a little more (but not much) with the Gerber one for sensitive stomachs.

Any time we have switched it caused digestive issues. I would return it if it is unopened.
