Ikea- Ektorp sofa

Anyone have one? How comfy is it and how does it hold up? Thinking of it for a playroom

I figure, you can wash anything really knarly and if the kids trash it in a few years, I'm good with the cheap price.

Lurker here- we have had ours for 3 years. It is holding up so far. It's pretty comfortable for napping, too.

I just ordered the chair for my nursery and I'm really excited about it.  I think its super comfortable.  I know for the chair I can take off the cover and wash it (we went with white, so I can bleach it), and also I can get the cover in other colors if I want to switch it up.

Go for it.

Oooh, @dmartin726 - excellent point, about the ability to bleach the white AND I've made a mental note to purchase an additional cover just to have on hand. Damn Pottery Barn Kids no longer makes the covers to our $1,000 rocker and I'm pissed that I didn't buy a second cover. Thank you!

We got en Ektorp with chaise 3 years ago. It's a great basic sofa. We started with a blue cover and switched to a brown one when we moved. We've used it with and without the chaise and it holds up really well. We're planning on getting another one for our playroom when construction is complete!
