Yes, I'm in the middle of the wonderful 4mwf...don't need any confirmation on that! Just wondering for those moms that are past it, how long did it last?
We're on two weeks and going strong here but she also had RSV and a double ear infection in the middle so I don't know which to blame!! But it all sucks!! Mine went from STTN or at least 6-7 hrs, eating, then 4 more to up every 2 hrs!! Can't wait til it's over. Good luck!!
For DD1 and 2 it changed everything. Prior to the 4mwp they STTN perfectly. After that they didn't STTN again til over a year. DD3 hasn't hit 4 months yet and we haven't seen a change to her sleep. I'm hoping we skip that hell.

I feel like we have been having it since like 3 months. Right now he will not let me out him down without waking up, which I know others on the board have mentioned. I get so frustrated sometimes.
We're in week three now, also in nap form. It seems to be getting a bit better and his naps are slowly lasting longer. Hopefully one more week, tops. Fingers tightly crossed!
We are also two weeks and going strong. Ugh. The biggest issue is his friggin crib. He'll sleep in his swing for naps or his bouncy seat, but he's never slept for more than 30 mins in his crib. We're still working through some of the tricks that I've seen posted previously though. Maybe we'll find our magic solution soon!
All of her GS's seem to follow her adjusted age, which means they start a week late. I would say we are heading into the third week now. I miss sleep, I'm tired of the increase in spit up, and now I'm getting sick. Miserable momma here!

Once DD hit 4 months a few days ago, she's been taking 3-3.5 hour naps mid-morning and only waking once or twice during the night (knock on wood)...however , I think we had a 3 month wakeful since she was up every 30 min-1 hour the few weeks prior. DS never slept well at all until 9 months, so every kid is different.
My baby just turned 4 months... He used to sleep from 10:30pm-7/8am and the past 2 wks, he has been waking up twice! I'm exhausted!!! I don't know what to do!!! I gave him cereal twice but it didn't work!! I'm so tired since I can't fall asleep after (he woke up at 5:30 and now it's 7:22, he is asleep and I'm not) uugghhhhhhhh
My DD has never SSTN ... So I'm not sure if she has gone through this. All I know is that between 8-12 she is inconsistent in her sleep pattern. I wish she would just sleep!
Today she had a few very short naps and she was over tired and fussy!
AND IT'S BACK! Somebody please shoot me. I've been up since 1:45 am with a crying baby who takes an hour to put to sleep and then proceeds to sleep for 30 minutes and continue to torture me (I didn't even get to fall asleep by the time she was up again). There were lots of tears all around, I definitely CIO. Dh was working night shift, I texted him towards the end of his shift to come home, I was a mess. I handed her over at 5:30 am for an hour of rest (she pulled the 30 min nap on him too) then we switched and I put her down at 7:30 for her to again, wake up 30 minutes later...and guess who's up for the day. She's not in pain, she'll whine then smile and laugh. WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.
Hope it gets better for you girl!!! Our night was terrible too. I've just come to expect minimal sleep at night. Can't wait til our babies learn to sleep again! Who needs sleep anywsys, right?! At least its Friday...
Does this have anything to do with getting the 4 month shots? For people who are experiencing this, have you already had your 4 month appt?
DS hasn't had his shots yet (delayed due to slight raised temp) and he is very much not napping and we're constantly playing the pacifier game at night. So no, no correlation.
Re: 4 month wakeful lasts how long?!
ETA: others don't go through it at all.
