I'm done...

I am sad to announce that after 8 weeks my baby did not survive......About a week ago I began noticing that I was not having the pregnancy symptoms as I had early on (i.e. extremely heavy, and sore breasts).  By last Friday I began “spotting”.  However by the weekend the spotting had evolved into a full on menstrual cycle, I even noticed blood clots.  

Yesterday I left work early because I was cramping sooo badly that I could hardly stand up straight.  I went home to lie down for some relief and got none.  I then did a quick search on the internet to pin point the root of my problem, but what I read wasn’t good so I called my doctor immediately.  The nurse did not hesitate to instruct me to go to the ER immediately….I knew then my pregnancy was over. :-(

After several tests and finally an ultra sound and a pelvic exam, the doctor informed me that I was “actively having a miscarriage”. I was numb. I was numb all the way home.  It wasn’t until I got into the bathtub that I began to cry.  Evidently My A-Negative blood type was conflicting with the babies blood which resulted in the miscarriage.  Sure there was more medical terminology involved but that’s all that I could comprehend at the time.

Needless to say I will no longer be following this group, however I look forward to the next group upon my next pregnancy.  Take care ladies!
