I hate being an AW... but my shower invite is too darn cute not to!!

So my boyfriend's mom showed us the shower invite that she just mailed out!! bf's cousin is a graphic designer and did everything and another family member owns a printing company. So happy that we have such amazing people who were willing to give their time and money to make this so special!! We LOVE little golden books and I had never seen an idea like this and it was so darn cute!! And the little "W" detail is so adorable (bf's last name). And they had stickers made up to go inside the books that people will give us with a To and From spot and a place for a little note to baby.

Thanks @RugbyMamma!! We love the name too but it's still kinda weird hearing each other say it out loud and know thats what we'll be calling her. Being a FTM it's so weird thinking whatever we pick is what someone will be called for the rest of their life!

And thank you ladies for the comments! I just wanted to share it cause I see so many cute invites but never one that actually used the book design. Thought it was a super cute and original idea!

Very cute. Funny how no one jumped all over you for asking for a book instead of a card. I was told I was being rude for having a diaper raffle which is pretty much the same concept, except books can be more expensive. Whatevs!! I love your invitation.

Eh, I blurred out what I thought was really important (like names).... but hey if ya feel like randomly showing up at some random person's shower then I think that's kinda on you for being weird. Haha just saying  I'm not worried about that at all.

And the book instead of a card wasn't my idea at all. That was a surprise to me. So flame away, but wasn't me, although I think it's an AWESOME idea and won't give two shits about being flamed for it.

Listen drama queen, it was pointed out to you since your invites hadn't gone out yet that you may want to reconsider the diaper raffle since you ran the risk of offending your guests (who probably wouldn't say so to your face). To this advice, which was offered by more than one person without name-calling, you responded by saying only jealous bitches would consider it rude, "wtf, I like presents," and bitching about it on someone else's thread. A book is more like a wishing well item. I've been to plenty of showers with them.

I have also been to many showers where a book was requested instead of a card. It is a very popular thing for showers nowadays and i love the idea. Books last longer and are used so much more, it is nice to think that every time the child reads that book they will be reminded of the person who took the time to write them a note in it.

I can buy a book at the dollar store for $1 - the same price I can pay for a card there. I definitely have not paid only$1 for diapers.
