Nice Neighbors!

I'm so fortunate to have nice neighbors!   They are always really nice, but throughout this pregnancy they have been extra helpful.  They came over tonight and brought us a crib mattress that has never been used.  They also gave me one of their extra pack n plays that had never been used. They said that their friends had given it to them, but they never needed it so they would rather give it to us than donate it.  This just made my night because I had kind of been in a funk all weekend.  Just not my normal cheery self the last few days.  I think it's the weather, I'm at my breaking point with this cold and ice!

That was so kind! Our neighbors mostly suck. Sounds like you hit the neighbor jackpot!

That's so nice! We have some great neighbors as well, even tho they just moved in. They got in a wreck with a lady who didn't have insurance. Well she just gave them cash for it, even tho it didn't affect their car. They know I'm not currently working so wanted to give the money to someone who needed it. They gave it to us to buy LOs dresser! There sure are some nice people out there

Wow that was super nice of them! Our neighbors are nice, but we are in a typical Northern VA suburban neighborhood so people keep to themselves a lot. Though one of them did give us an old box of "child-proofing" stuff (outlet covers, cabinet locks, etc.) so that was nice.

That's so sweet! I wish we had a relationship with our neighbors like that. Ours are almost never home!

It's humbling for us to see how generous people have been. One of our friends from church is giving us their crib, changing table and dresser. It's a great set. We've got a ton of other stuff too from friends. We're excited to pay if forward when we can.

I guess it also pays to be the last one to have kids and be the "old mom!" Haha! Most of our friends have 5-10 year olds!

Nice neighbors are the best. Ours gave us their crib a few months after DD was born. Now they said they don't use the stroller anymore and we can have it, it's a double Phil & Ted stroller
