We just had our first open house. I had nightmares about people showing up early and not having enough time to clean. I had a tough time sleeping last night, but this morning I cranked up some tunes and got it sparkling. I staged the shit out of it down to fresh flowers and fresh cookies.

We had 13 people and got positive comments. Yay! I was so afraid that no one would show.

The place has never looked so good. Why can't we have catalog ready houses all the time? Oh, yeah, kids, dogs, husbands...

Anyhow, just wanted to AW it up a little. A friend took me out for a margarita and I'm feeling happy

That is great. I feel the same way when we have sold. Why doesn't our house look this good all the time....then I remember we actually have to live there. LOL. Goood luck with getting the house sold.
