  • Thank you for thinking of me! I've been busy working on my to-do list before the baby comes :-)

Baby girl is still cooking and pretty active! I had my 36 week appointment at our house on Wednesday, so the midwives could check out where to set everything up etc. My GBS swab came back positive, but they can give IV antibiotics at a home birth, too, if I decide to go that route.
I have everything ready for the birth and am just kind of waiting around to see what will happen! I will continue the progesterone suppositories until I hit 37 weeks next Thursday and am so glad that I will never ever have to take them again. So sick of that stuff! I think DH is more excited about having a homebirth by now than I am, hehe. We are all looking forward to little Julie's arrival. My only worry left is where Alex will go during birth, but we'll get it figured out. A few different ladies from my neighborhood playgroup have offered to take him, so if it happens during the day, that's our plan. If it happens at night, our hope is that he will just sleep through it until she is out and crying, we'll see how that'll work! ;-)

mtb, I am due March 20th! As of 7.31 am this morning I am the most pregnant I have ever been, since Alex was born at 36w3d. Yeehaw! :-D

  • Thank you, mtb! I haven't really thought about the fact that there won't be meds available. My way of preparing is denial, ha! Once it's here, I'll have to get through it somehow! ;-)
