Hi! I'm new to the boards. Just trying to figure out where I belong, so I guess I'll post on a few that seem to apply.... I'm 37, almost 38. I have a 5 year old daughter from a previous relationship. My husband has 2 boys from his previous marriage (ages 6 and 3). We have been TTC hard core for 9 months now & began seeing RE last month. We have gone through all of the preliminary testing, ultrasounds, x-rays, labs, and consults. My hormones seem to be where they are supposed to be, at my first ultrasound, I had 10 follicles on each side, and x-ray yesterday showed that my tubes were not blocked. At this point, we are just waiting for the sperm antibodies result for both of us. So, it "appears" as though my reproductive health is excellent and the issue is DH. Due to a vasectomy reversal, his count & motility is on the low end of normal. Next month we begin follistim and will undergo our first iui. It's been such an emotional roller coaster with all of the charting, peeing on sticks, countless visits to the doctor, and failed pregnancy tests. His doctor who did the reversal said the first 18 months were going to be the best chances of conception, we are at month 13. Good luck to all you ladies!

Eta* this board is for anyone with a child, dealing with IF trying for subsequent children, so this would be a good board for you. You don't have to worry about putting a child warning in your posts here, everyone here has kids
