Grrrr Period Returns

Anyone get theirs yet?  

I'm just about 4 months postpartum.  I am an EPer.  I've read that if you are breastfeeding and LO starts to go longer stretches in between eating that your period could come.  Since going back to work I've often had to extend times between pumps, so I'm guessing that could be the cause.  I have mixed feelings on it... while I would have loved a few more months of freedom from my monthly foe, I'm kind of happy knowing it's back and we could start TTC whenever we want (which we were thinking of doing around 9 months - 1 year anyway since it took us over a year for success the last time).

Curious to hear your experiences!

I was pretty sure you could get KU before your period comes back...everything is all out of whack.

I agree @sing2phins...no clue what's going on! I was finished PP bleeding around 2 weeks, think I had my first PPP at 5 weeks, went in the mini pill at 6 weeks and had some more bleeding around 8 weeks, but nothing since and we're now 14 weeks. I BF as well, so I keep telling myself this is normal. But what is normal for one isn't going to be normal for someone else. Plus I'm too scared to take a HPT in case it does come up +!

Mine's been a little wonky with mirena too. Last time I had it I had three weeks of spotting then nothing. This time I had maybe a week of spotting after it was placed and then a couple days this week (exactly 4 weeks from placement) I had a lot of cramping and some spotting. I am assuming it is was a period. Kind of bummer because I was really hoping I wouldn't have a period again this time but oh well. I haven't had an official period since June of 2009 and I was rather enjoying it.

I FF exclusively and haven't had mine yet. LO is 13 weeks. I hemorraghed after birth and they pumped me so full of drugs to stop that. They said it could be a year before I see a period. I had my tubal so not worried about pregnancy but it's just strange to not know what's going on with my body.

I pretty much ff from early on and for mine about 2 weeks ago. Mite crampy and heavy at first but then mellowed out.

@LizB8943 I also have the Mirena. I had cramps for a few days after but haven't had any since. I have had some spotting lately but nothing beyond that. I am totally paranoid about getting pregnant again! I'm hoping it is as effective as my OB says it is.

I haven't had mine yet... I slowed down nursing several weeks ago and finally wrapped it up last week... still nada... I'm expecting it any day.. with dread...

I just got mine a few days ago after bleeding for a little over two weeks from the depo shot in January. It is not nearly as heavy as before. I had essure done but it does not make your cycle out of wack.
