3D scan tip

We got our 3d scan today & our little boy was face down sleeping for half the appointment.She said 'most of our morning appointments the babies are sleeping because they're awake all night' would have been good to know before!Also I tried drinking lots but it was morning & I think I would have been more hydrated in the afternoon. But we got a couple of good pics eventually! Bring an ice cold drink!

I went at 3:45 pm last weekend and lil guy was fast asleep ... And then he turned to my spine lol
I think it's just luck of the draw really

I had both of mine in the evenings and they were both super lazy lol had to run a few laps on the stairs and drink some cold orange juice to get a few good pics right at the last moment. We haven't gone for this baby yet though so hopefully she decides to be awake! But at lease you got a cute little pic at the end! He's adorable!

I think it depends on each baby. My baby is active in the morning around the time I set my appt up. But I will be drinking some soda and cold juice which she loves! Cute pic!

Mine is scheduled at 1:30pm , so I'm hoping lunch get him moving.

The place I went to encouraged me to drink lots of water the week of and to arrive with a full bladder to push baby's head up (trust me, this helps- I emptied my bladder in the middle of the session and everything got super blurry so I had to down a bottle of water and wait).

Also, drinking something sugary on the way there helped get baby moving. I'm satisfied with my results, I've been AWing my LO in my siggy since I got the photos. Haha

I had a morning appointment also, and my baby was moving like crazy! I was told to drink lots of water the week leading up to the scan, so that might have helped the clarity of the images. As far as positioning, it's just luck I think. I've also been AWing mine in my siggy .

All of my appointments are mid afternoon or evening and she has always been extremely active. She just never liked taking her face off my placenta. The picture in my sig is the clearest one we got of her face.

I've done all my ultrasound appts in the morning, and I just drink full-caff coffee with real sugar. Keeps the baby movin' and groovin'.

My LO was snuggled against the placenta for most of my session. I guess placentas make good pillows?

My LO seemed to think playing with her feet was more fun so we were only able to get one good picture. Gonna try again Thursday. And yes, those are toes by her face haha.

Someone told me to drink Orange Juice about a half hour to an hour before you go in.

I had mine in the afternoon, drank tons of water, and an ice cold OJ on my way to the appoint, he was very active but still faced wrong way whole time and had his hands n feet covering his face..... Got one ok shot of him but I really think luck needs to be on your side

I love looking at everyones pictures! Personally, I don't want a 3D ultrasound because I want to have no clue what LO looks like before she arrives.

Mine was at night. She's stubborn and 6/6 ultrasounds she's had her hands in her face.
