Even if they intended same pronunciation as Jessica, I'd want to say it with a qu sound each time I said it to show them how ridiculous it was they spelled it that way. I wouldn't actually, but Id want to. Now if they want the pronunciation with the qu, sigh. I guess at least they know how to spell
I'm assuming it's Jessica even though it looks like Jess-ee-kwa. If you teach Language Arts you should definite pronounce it the way it looks even when talking to the parents, just to let them know you have a firm grasp on the English language, lol.

Jessica... but that's terrible
