We finally have a name!!!

I've taken to this board several times desperately seeking a name for my 2nd baby boy. I was never set on any name. I kept saying we would wait until he was born but lately I've been antsy. I saw him today at my 28 week ultrasound and had this overwhelming need to name him. I kept thinking of our list. My husband's first suggestion and favorite name since day 1 was Nolan...yet I kept looking for something else. Well, today, it stuck. 

My baby boy's name will be Nolan John. 

Nolan means "champion" in Gaelic. He'll be my little champ. This name feels right. 

I am so excited to finally have a name for him. His big brother Julian is going to be so excited. Sorry, just had to share!!!

Congrats! I am so happy for you, but jealous too. I'll be 27 weeks Tuesday and feel exactly like what you described above. We have a handful of good names for DS, but not one of them seems exactly right. Hopefully it comes to me soon!

Thank you! I feel SO much better having a name for this little man. I just couldn't get myself to LOVE any of the names...but something changed today. Not sure why. I've been so busy with my toddler that I haven't had much time to focus on the little guy in my belly. I have felt guilty about that. I already feel a stronger connection being able to speak about him using his name. Thanks again!
AnnieA75- I kept going over and over and over our list. Nothing stuck...not sure why it changed today. Maybe that will happen with you as well!
