Furbaby Friday

Sorry I did not get this out this morning.  I checked quickly to see if anyone else has posted but did not see anything. I am rushing since I have to go get my students.

So lets see your furbabies!!!

Quick story my cat lays on my stomach every night, she is my girl, never comes out when people are around or my hubby usually.

Well last night she was laying next to me sleeping and purring away.  Well, I have not felt my little one move much yet just little twinges here and there.

Well, when Ice Cream was laying next to me purring last night, I could feel these twinges more and more.  Right before she came and laid with me I felt only a few twinges but when she cam for a few mins I could feel them more and more.

Maybe my little girl will be a crazy cat person like mer mom!!! LOL

Ok just had to share!!  WIll post a pic of my Ice Cream later!!

I'm pretty sure anyone that reads this thread would appreciate this story :-) I shook up my salad dressing bottle only this realize I had already taken the lid off... Doh! I got dressing all over the floor, ceiling, fridge, countertops, and my poor DS! It was in his hair and all over the back of his clothes. I took his pants off and threw them in the washer and came back to this. My little min-pin helping her brother get clean. I seriously think they should give you a dog when you leave the hospital with a baby So helpful!!

Don't have any pictures of Mr. Bingley today but found this great photo (of a random cat). I feel like this is what Mr. Bingley would do (since he is overly dramatic) if he experienced real snow!!

This is my Romeo having a conversation with our baby girl. He lays his head down and starts purring and she just starts kicking away. My other cat isn't so photogenic.

Little Rocky hates this freezing cold weather... so he has started to use my blanket basket as his warm nap place.  He gets in with ease, getting out is the hard part!

My poor Dee had to get shots today and had an allergic reaction Her face is SO swollen! Time for some Benadryl.

I have two pups. But the mini schnauzer thinks he's the baby. Every night he hugs my belly and this week we tried out the new baby sling. June is gonna be quite a shock for him.

ETA:  the vet doesn't seem concerned about it.  When she was still in foster care she had a bunch of tumors removed from all over, so I do keep a close eye on growths.

The crusty nose does happen. You can put Vaseline on it to help. Doggy probably will lick it but will not hurt him.

Put it on before play or something to distract him from wanting to lick it. Lol

Ya know, it doesn't seem to bother her, thankfully.  But, we already have her on Benadryl daily because she has such bad allergies.  Her eyes would be all red, puffy and disgusting if we didn't use it, and she would chew on her skin & feet.  I think it helps with the nose, too.  The foster family was giving her Zyrtec, which I had never heard of for dogs. My vet told us to use Benadryl.  Her nose looks better now than when we adopted her, so maybe it does help. She's just a dry & crusty girl!

Oh man. Poor thing allergies can be so bad. Yes Benedryl is good to use. If it gets real bad there are other meds you can use. We had our golden allergy tested and he was so bad he needed shots monthly. He also was on a hypoallergenic food.

What kind of dog? I'm mobile so have not looked at all pics yet above.

Yeah Vaseline might help. Good he is doing better. So good you adopted him.
