Hi all, I'm new here. 
I'm 28 weeks pregnant with our first baby. Yesterday my husband and I went in for a follow-up ultrasound to check on our sons dilated kidneys, and brain cysts. His kidneys look great, and the cysts have gotten smaller, but he was diagnosed with Ventriculomegaly. Which is a dilation of one of the ventricles in his brain (his left). Apparently there's more cerebral spinal fluid in there, then there should be.
We were told all of this by our normal OB, after a long ultrasound where two different techs focused on his brain for about an hour. I knew something was up at that point. Our OB said we need to meet with the high risk doctor, but we couldn't get an appointment until Thursday.
I am of course panicked by this diagnosis, and the waiting game until Thursday. The last thread I could find on this was over a year ago. Has anyone else gotten this diagnosis? Any insight would be much appreciated. TIA.
