This is probably only funny to me.  Know how I told you that I left the lights on during the funeral church service this weekend?  I was in the passenger seat because DH had driven and then got out meet the hearse.  I KNEW I had somehow just ignored the dinging the car makes when you leave the car but the lights are on.  I don't say this to brag but my FIL loves me SO MUCH DH jokes that his parents love me more than they love him.  That guy wanted so badly for this to not be my fault that he researched it and found that if you leave the lights on, take the keys out of the ignition and exit the PASSENGER side (as I had done), the car does not ding.  He told my dear husband that, who failed to tell me (convenient!).  FIL just IM'd me to make sure I knew I had been absolved.

I'm laffing so hard.

I hit the IL jackpot.  Which is good because parent-wise I got a goose egg.  Any time DH picks on me or jokingly tries to throw me under the bus around his parents, they tell him to stop picking on "my Allison."  DH can't get away with shit lol

This happened to me once when LO was a couple months old. I had climbed into the back seat to nurse him and then just gotten out from there. Came back to a totally dead car. What a pain!
