We lowered ours weeks ago. They can never do something until they can do it I don't like risking them mastering something on the first try and catching me off guard lol
We also lowered a few weeks ago. And this morning he had completely pulled himself up to a standing position! You never know what they can do.. Until they do it!
We just lowered ours. He hasn't stood up in it yet, but he pulls up on other thing all the time. There is a definite moment of suspension for him now. :-)
Just did this two days ago. She learned to sit up and started grabbing at the sides. I waited a few days for DH to help, but she was trying pull up at nap time, so I finally just did it myself.
So apparently we are the minority that havent' done so, eeekkkk. Alrighty, so I am no mom of the year and tried to do this myself and that was a major fail! Looks like DH has a project to do tomorrow!!
We just lowered his tonight, and his mobile turns into a ceiling projector. He's loving it! He has always been good at just falling asleep in his crib, but tonight was the fastest I've seen him pass out.
We already lowered too. Funny story though- H and I are both pretty tall, so neither of us even thought about how the lowering would effect a shorter person. When my mom babysat, she couldn't get him in!! She ended up making his a makeshift bed on the floor! We have a stool there now for when grandma babysits!

Dude, how short is your mother? LOL I'm 4'10 and I can lower my kid into a fully lowered crib
