Dh is giving me my Valentines Day present tomorrow: a night in my own house and own bed, baby and husband free!!!!  I'm so pumped!!!! I'm going to rent a chick flick, hog the remote, and SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! Yahoo!

The term "I'm so pumped!" really doesn't have the same feeling for me anymore. Being pumped is anything but enjoyable these days. However, your vday gift definitely sounds enjoyable! Enjoy your time alone....I'm jealous.

Okay, I'm about 2 hours in and my flick sucks but I've got a good glass of wine (I may even have two). I miss my kiddo though.

Also amazing what h has texted.... "J has 3 teeth coming in" I've been telling you that for days. "He may not make it till 8:30" well that's cuz he usually goes to bed at 8. We do all the parenting together, how do these things not register?

It wasn't as great as I wanted it to be but it was still nice! I still wound up waking up in the night wondering about him but it was nice to be able to roll over and go back to bed. DH said he woke up 4 times, which is a lot for him.

For the first night away from him, I'll say it was a success for me. We'll do it again so that it can be more of a success for everyone!
