Last appointment with RE was today! 8 wk check up

Today was the last appointment with our fertility clinic and doctor. I went in for the 8 wk u/s. I have to say I almost cried after leaving as I will miss them (but not having to go through all of that).

On the other hand, our two little raspberries are doing wonderful! Baby A has caught up with Baby B in size.  Their heartbeats are 162 (A) and 160 (B). We could see what looked like little wheels attached and the Dr pointed out that was their growing arms!! I am finally starting to get a little bit excited (I think that it helps that I have not been nauseated for 3 days now!!!)

  • Great news!

I remember that my last visit with my RE felt bittersweet as well. I really, really liked my RE, and I feared that we would not find the same level of care with an OB. Well, I was pleasantly surprised that I really, really like my OB as well -- so everyone wins! I look forward to visiting my RE again in the future when we are ready to add to our family, and I can't wait to introduce her to our daughter (who we would not have been able to create without her).

So glad to hear that your little bambinos are growing and doing well. Good luck at your first OB visit! :)
