I am sad that I am already 25 weeks pregnant. I want it to slow down a little. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to seeing, kissing and cuddling my baby. I just enjoy pregnancy, and can't believe it is going so quickly this time.
This is probably flame-worthy but... regarding a post yesterday, I don't agree with the designated parking spaces for expectant mothers and those with infants and I don't plan to ever use them. I don't think that pregnancy and motherhood should be given the same allowances as those with handicaps. At work, once you hit 30 weeks, you're given a handicap parking pass and my moral compass goes haywire just thinking of this. I understand that at some point I'll be uncomfortable and it would be nice to park closer but I don't think it makes me entitled to a special spot. Likewise with an infant... it's nice to park close but I don't think parking close will make getting the baby / car seat any easier to get in / out of the car.
I finally have one on a Thursday! I think classic TOMS are horribly ugly shoes and don't get the fascination with them. For those who are all about the charitable side of the company, why not buy a cute pair of shoes and just make a direct donation?
Sorry to the lovely ladies that are fans, just really NMS.

I don't think the classic ones are that cute, but they are so comfortable!
I hate when people say T&Ps. Can you really not take the extra 1.5 seconds to add in the 13 extra letters?
@bebemac - dude, it is hard to type anything at all when DS is trying to climb up me like a jungle gym because I took the remote away after he made our TV only show programs in Spanish. I am all about abbreviations, KWIM? <--SWIDT?

I am actually okay with these, especially for mothers of small kids. I'm not saying it's comparable to a physical handicap but I am really grateful for those spots when I am at the store and have DS with me and it's pouring down rain and he is crying because of the thing with the stuff and I am trying to put him in the car along with a cart full of groceries.

Ha. After I fell last week, work suggested that I had a Dr. right a note so that they could give me a designated parking spot in our garage.
My doctor refused and said there was nothing wrong with me.
I find it all comical. I would have taken the spot, 100% because my job has so few perks sometimes and it would be nice to take advantage of the one they are offering me, even if they're only offering it because they're afraid my clumsy ass is going to fall in their garage, next.
I am re-watching Buffy the vampire slayer series, for about the forth time. I started a week ago, and I am on season 5 epi 15. It is on while I cook, while I clean, as I am falling asleep. I took a class on Buffy in college, and while I am watching it, I keep coming up with new thesis statements.
I don't trust any doctor except my OB. I don't know why. I have about a bazillion questions for my OB at my last appointment, but she was out and I was seen by the NP. Didn't ask one, cause I wanted to hear what my doctor would say, not this woman. Totally doesn't make sense, but she is the only person I feel comfortable with asking L+D questions, even though there is a chance (even a good chance) it will be one of the others at my delivery.
I have started packing my hospital bag. I found the perfect pair of slippers and PJ's, and I don't want to lose track of them. I know what bag I want to use, so I put them in there in my closet. DH thinks I'm crazy, but it makes perfect sense to me.
There's a debate in our house if creamy or chunky peanut butter is better. The Hubs knows I like creamy but decided the mondo two pack of super chunk from Costco is good enough. Use, no. It doesn't blend well into my protein shakes. Creamy peanut butter all the way!
Side note: I must find pizza for lunch thanks to this thread, except it's a snowing like crazy right now...
I think all parents should have to spend at least one day a year in the classroom as a guest teacher. Come and see what my job is really like (and for the most part, my students are awesome, but they are still 12 and 13 year olds) before you tell me how much I suck at it.

This is more of a confession, but I won't remember it by tomorrow....
We are taking DS to Disney next month. I fully intend to buy a kid leash to have while we are there. He is at a stage where he doesn't love riding in a stroller and fights holding your hand. I don't want to fight with my 2 year old about holding my hand all day long.
I am so ashamed.
I think that Disney gets a special pass with the leashes.

I think baby showers for a second baby are okay sometimes.
I agree! Provided you don't throw it for yourself lol. My family wants to throw one for me, my only input that it isn't big and gift grabby and after baby is born is my preference so we can avoid all the annoying pregnant shower games and play pass the baby instead

I have to agree with a PP that Disney is a good exception. I used to travel a lot for work too and I also say the airport is another exception. I have seen the panicked parent looking for their child and have also seen the child attached. I would never want to experience that panick of a lost child at the airport.

I think kid leashes are okay, honestly. I don't see why it's such a BFD to everyone.
We LOVE (like big puffy heart love) the Muppets at our house. We are super excited for the new movie coming out and will be going as a family to see it (as we did the last). My recent favorite Muppets meme.....Meeping Angels
Ahhhhh..... I just cannot deal with the angels. One too many Doctor Who episodes of freaky-ass angel statues too late at night
Re: UO Thursday
Meat doesn't belong on pizza. I'm not a vegetarian but I want ALL the veggies on my pizza and none of the greasy meat.
Also. I want pizza.
EDIT- If it is greasy then you need a better pizza place

@SarahS11 my siggy gif of John Krasinski is actually a perfect response for your UO.
I love red wine!
And ::internet high five:: to @LoHerrim for our mutual love of veggie pizza and red wine!
Because we're all pregnant and hungry.

BBQ sauce also has no place near my pizza.
Yup, basically.
