So Hannah is sick, boo. At night she coughs something fierce, but basically not at all during the day. The cough and loose bowels are her only symptoms.

How can I help a 13 month old have cough relief? What medicine can I give them?

Elevate her crib, use a humidifier, saline spray and booger sucker. Tylenol if a fever. Oh, and we got some of that baby Vicks, but an all natural version. Slathered it on the soles of her feet and put on socks, them put just a bit on her chest.

We do the same as @TJ1979 mentioned - elevate his mattress, saline, humidifier, boogie sucker and vicks.  If he's coughing mostly at night, it usually means post nasal drip.  So we'll give him some benadryl to dry him up at night, too.
