I hate being sick :(

So the bad cold I thought I had on Tuesday had progressed to fever/chills Tuesday night. I went to urgent care and it turned out to be strep throat. Ugh. I'm at work and I still just feel like death. And I don't have PTO yet (just started this job in January) so I have to work two 12 hour days to make up for missing work yesterday. 

DD has been on a roll...it's like she knows I'm incapacitated and is trying to get away with EVERYTHING.

I also have my first therapist appointment today. I'm hoping i can at least squeak out a little bit of talking. I've really been looking forward to this appointment.

I just wanna go home and go back to sleep

Aaw.  I'm sorry you don't feel good.  At least you don't have it coming out of both ends!   

People here at work keep saying they've had waves of nausea.  I think they blame me.

I hope you get well soon! And I hear ya when I'm sick DD1 takes full advantage and things go crazy here until I'm better and can get caught up.

FINALLY feeling better. I got a diagnosis of strep throat so I got a nice set of antibiotics to knock it out. Unfortunately, NOW I have an infected wisdom tooth from hell so I'm dealing with that. And my sister caught the strep. I bet the kids are next...

Oh no having wisdom teeth as an adult blows. I got my last one removed when I was 30 and the dentist was not polite about how "old and gnarled" it was.

Haha don't tell me that! I'm almost 34...I'm sure this one is old and gnarled and nasty too!

I have one wisdom tooth story that makes me absolutely hate the DENTIST that tried to pull it. It was another 2 years before I was able to suck it up and look for an oral surgeon to take out the other 3. And I was so mad when the dentist wouldn't let me keep the tooth he managed to break off the roots before referring me to the oral surgeon. The other oral surgeon let me keep the other 3 and my dog ate one of them. Which angered me. So I only have the two chillin' in my bathroom. Because I don't know where to put them.

Ive had three oral surgeries and they all sucked. But having my wisdom teeth surgically removed was the worst! I woke uo choking on my own spit and sat in the recovery room crying for my daddy cause my face hurt so bad.

My third one was to clean out an infected absess in the roof of my mouth. They forgot to prescribe me antibiotics and half my face swelled up too twice its size two days later. I might be able to find a picture...
