I took this pic yesterday but forgot to post. I'm going to be real brave and add in bare belly pic later but right now I've got yoga pants dents on my belly from sleeping.
This is my 1 week post partum, post CS belly. I gained a little over 30 pounds. I weighed myself 5-6 days after birth and had lost 15 pounds.
I remember with my first I had no idea what a PP belly would look like or that I could still look PG. Feel free to post your PP HDBD.
*disclaimer, I'm wearing a belly band which is smoothing some and the real clothes were only on for a quick outing

I've added a bare belly pic. My belly is definitely softer and more jiggly right now. Also, my bump changes depending on time of day and the pants I'm wearing, I think fluid is getting pushed around still.
Re: HDBD post partum edition updated with more pics

Yeah, this was my thinking, too. Especially considering the details about exactly how much weight was gained and lost.
We might as well all be posting how much we've gained while we're pregnant to tell each other that that's normal, too.
ETA: I'm not hating and am not arguing... I actually had no problem with the pregnancy weight posts and always thought it was kind of funny how they were taken here. I was just saying that this one feels pretty similar to the ones that you all hated.
Don't mind my mess or pajamas.
Sorry it's sideways! On mobile and I can never get them upright.

A day after I got home I started back at my normal routine of cleaning and laundry and I started to bleed a lot. I was totally over doing it.

I can't believe how good you all look! I am soooo looking forward to wearing normal jeans again some day. I have heard it takes your ute a while to shrink back down to normal size, and it blows my mind that my stomach will still be "pregnant" looking for a while with no baby in there.
You girls really do look great though and I appreciate you showing us your PP bellies!

I just want to say again you all look great! Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing!!! I've been really curious on what to expect (yes, I know we are all different). Keep posting if you are comfortable please, it' great!
and btw, you look amazing
I'm actually surprised at how well my body adjusted. I lost 15 pounds instantly and another 5 in the few days pp. I'm still about 15lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. My belly definitely doesn't look the same though!
My belly buttons way deeper than before. It completely sunk way in.
I still have the line down my belly - it was once straight, now it's all curvy.
Pre-preg, my skin was tight and now it's more elasticy and loose.
I'm in no rush to get to the gym or start working out, though. All my time will be with my lil man....I always thought I'd be the one begging my doc to clear me for the gym, but my perspective has completely changed.
I love my body for giving me my little miracle!
Sorry if bare belly bothers some, but I know I would want to see some pics of women after delivery to know what can happen.
(I definitely like my clothed belly picture better, but since others are being brave I figured I'd go for it too!)
Eta and when it's an option I go nekkid

If I need to look presentable I'm wearing maternity clothes, otherwise I'm in sweats/leggings/yoga pants.
I didn't get any stretch marks, sorry I can't help @b2b.2010
Also, just today I started to wear always infinity pads. Until now, I've been wearing hospital pads/mesh undies.
I know there has been advice to take as much as you can from the hospital - listen to it!!! The bleeding after is pretty insane and the only reason I was able to move around was bc of the jumbo pads they gave me....and those mesh undies are phenomenal!
This is l&d related but the dr who delivered Camden was amazing. She used different oils when I was pushing to help prevent tearing. Idk if this is something you can request but I highly, highly recommend asking your dr if they do this! I had no external tears, just a small internal that required one stitch!!
This. There's no need for this kind of a thread to turn into anything else than a place to share our PP experiences. I honestly have no idea what to expect so this is nice. And I think what @Laura8388 said is important, too. I know once I have the baby I will want to try to lose the weight quickly, but I'm going to have to try to remember that I need to concentrate on healing first.
