I may be getting buzzed off this one beer ( I forgot to eat dinner). I am rocking inordinately hard to the music snippets being played in the Olympic hockey arena of the taped US/Czech game I am watching.
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
It's for a specific condition and closely related conditions. It's a very different vibe than TB, but it's a great resource to have once you become a part of the community. There's a lot of sensitive info shared on my board so people don't take kindly to newbs being jackasses. I assume it's the same on boards for other conditions as well. Some of the medical boards can come off as harsh, but don't let that turn you away. It's a great place for referrals and advice. And it's nice to vent to people who understand what you are going through.
The guy tonight was annoying. I can't give advice if you don't have your testing history, meds etc in your siggy. I'm not going to waste time explaining things you may have been through already years ago, kwim? I advise to read the newbie information carefully when joining a medical forum.
Ugh. All I have is Limoncello and there's a reason it's still here...I'll have to get creative. Our priest came last night and while he did indeed hand DH his ass, he also told me in not so many words that there's no reason I shouldn't have the dishes done when DH gets home from work because I only have one baby and that's "basically a part-time job". Um, no.
So...anyone have any great ideas for this Limoncello?

It looks like there are more books available now. We had the old one. I see there is a revised edition out now. I really enjoyed the way they explained the information. It's a nice book for a younger girl to read about her body without too much sex info. Don't get me wrong, we firmly believe in open sex ed in our home, but my 9 year old did not need to know about anal. I can't remember which book I flipped through that had that in it.
Can you guys settle a debate? What the fuck does the man in the yellow hat do for a living? Seriously. Dude has an apartment in the city, a country house, and I've never seen him work in any episodes...

Bless his heart.

Yeah, it was not one of his finer moments but I'm trying to let it go because reasons, but mostly because he 76 and like, VERY traditional and so is his wife. Yes, he has a wife (Eastern Orthodox).
On the plus side, DH earned major brownie points defending me and it created a unity horse. But yeah, not cool.
I wish I could figure out what was wrong. I have changed my diet habits a bunch to try to account for it being blood sugar but it doesn't change anything at all. I have been to so many doctors and the medical bills are adding up. All we have found is that my cortisol levels are elevated in the morning but that doesn't seem to be related at all. Ugh.
And thanks @klondikebar that makes sense. I was on a private endometriosis forum for teens but kicked off when I turned 21. It was very helpful when I was dealing with the diagnosis and stuff.
My BFF up north sent to DD and she loves it so she's always asking me to read it. Truth be told, I love reading it, too.
Who are you rooting for tomorrow?
Canada, of course. But I won't watch the game because of work and I think the US will probably win so I'm not really paying a whole of attention to any of it. It's more just so H and I can bug whoever belongs to the losing team, ya know?
I wish they were meeting for gold.
BLASPHEMY. We will have their asses for dinner (or lunch, not sure of the time change)
