In my experience, we are beginning to come to a time, towards the end of pregnancy/beginning of motherhood, where we will start seeing all sorts of crazy threads.  Below is a list of my favorites, feel free to add if you can think of one!

Is this a braxton hicks or a real contraction?
I think I'm having contractions, when do I call my OB/go to the hospital?
I think I'm losing my mucous plug!
Wanna see my mucous plug?
Look, my mucous plug!
I HAD A BABY!!!  (Ok, I really like the birth stories, but we will suddenly see these from people who have NEVER posted before)
Look at the milestone that my baby is hitting way earlier than yours is!

This is Baby 3 for me but the first time having a forum to utilize so can't speak from previous forum experience but,
I imagine there will also be:
When does baby sleep through the night?
Or Yay baby slept all night!
How often should feedings be?
(and please let there not be this one)
Is my incision infected PP...

Seriously?  Why would anyone EVER post a picture of their mucus plug?  Why not just give us a va jay jay shot of baby coming out???

ETA:  And the first person who posts a picture of either of the above is totally getting called out and flamed!

I'll also add, the "I'm 39 weeks pregnant and 2 cm dilated, how soon do you think I'll go into labor" threads.

*trying very hard not to google mucus plug*   - no one ever talks about this and its new to me so if its going to be horrific I'd rather know whats comin!  Pregnancy is fun!

And so we are all clear - I do not want to see your mucus plugs

I'm a sucker for birth stories - I read them about people I don't even "know".  Currently reading the Feb boards for the birth stories!

"Where will baby sleep" - already started to see a few of those

And let's not forget the baby shower bitching/AWing...

What about the "My doctor told me to wait 6 weeks to have sex but my husband really really wants me to so we're having sex 4 weeks early anyway.  Do you think it's ok?"  threads.  I remember a few of those.

I expect a lot of "Baby won't stop crying, what do I do?!" but hopefully not from me.  :-S

Aside from the disgusting ones (please no pics of mucus plugs, eew!), I'm just not looking forward to being inundated with multiple posts of the same topic...and definitely not from people who haven't posted the entire time.

It seems like boards get flooded at the very beginning and then taper off, a few new people here and there throughout, and then another huge blast at the end of people wanting to do nothing but AW and then will probably get all butt hurt when people who have known each other for the better part of 9 months don't jump up and down for joy for a stranger. (not to say we wouldn't say congrats, but it'll definitely lack the personal element because we don't know who the F they are)

I never saw mine the first time around, try not to scared. I did see it the second time and it was gross, but not as scary as everyone made it sound! No need to google, you'll definitely know when/if you see it...

If it helps - I never saw mine. Things were awkward enough bathroom-wise when I was massively pregnant... I never checked, lol.
