My DD has been wearing only panties now for about 3 weeks at DC and home. Yesterday, when I picked her up, she was outside with a "filler" teacher and a high school assistant that comes in after 3pm. As we walked off, my DD started crying and telling me her bottom hurt. She was walking funny and wouldn't let me pick her up. I finally carried her sideways practically and then in the car she freaked out when I made her sit down in her car seat. My house is less than 1/2 a mile away so I just wanted to get home where I could properly check her. She will be 3 in late April and all she would tell me is that her bottom hurt.
So I take her pants off at home and there is dried poop all in the crack of her bottom and on her panties. According to her sheet, she had a BM at 2:00 and it's now 4:30. She also had a BM earlier in the morning. This hasn't happened before so obviously they don't expect a 2.5 year old to wipe their own butt properly but still....who didn't pay enough attention to do it this time? It didn't look like it had been wiped at all. Her little crack was very red.
I said something to her teacher this morning at drop off and she seemed surprised. I'm not completely sure she was the one with her when this happened but she didn't want to say that. I just want to know if I should make the director aware of this? Or is that a bit much? Low level anger...tell the teacher and move along. Or high level anger...tell the teacher and the director to just make more of a point?
Re: Low level or high level? How made would you be at DC?
Ditto.
