Hi Sweetie! You are SO kind, I so missed everyone's support here. You know how life gets with a newborn! Hailey was born in July, I was off work until october (and the weather was superb! I would walk with her everyday for hours on end) so my point is my Bump time was greatly reduced. I was truly focused on her...then I ran the Chicago marathon in October (crazy but true) and then came back to work fulltime. Now I'm finding it SO hard to balance a full time job, an infant and TTC#2. My H is awesome and does so much with Hailey...we had a FET last month that was a BFN, and that was heartbreaking...so we decided to fresh cycle again right away (I'm not getting any younger, you know!) So here were are. I need the support of TB as we go through this again. Now I'm back (and making the time to check in!!)
Is that an EDD in your siggy? Are you PG again? Bring me up to speed, how's your LO? Over a year old now, right?? The pic in your siggy is cute (but small, so hard for me to see) Please tell me everything has been great, I know you had a tough delivery and my heart broke for you....I hope he's healthy as can be and you and your H are well. Can't wait to hear an update from you!!

Re: **4legs**
That is so awesome that you got to spend so much time with Hailey before going back to work, I miss those days - and a marathon already!? Impressive! Going through IVF with a 1 year old and FT job is no joke. Seriously, there were many days I felt like running away. I am so sorry about your BFN, that is really tough to take. I will keep my fx that this fresh cycle is it for you and all those fertilized eggs are healthy! I saw your stats of your ER. Wow, jsut wow!!
Harrison is 13 months old and is the light of my life! I don't think there is anything more perfect in this world than that little boy. He got all of the best things about me and my husband and doesn't seem to have taken any of our less than desirable traits, yet...
We did a fresh cycle in Jan (I am no spring chicken either!) but I am in ultrasound hell right now. I went in at 6 weeks for my first u/s with a beta of 35,000 and p4 of 322 (natural level, no shots) and had 2 embryos implant, but they looked to be just empty sacs. So, he scheduled me to come back in a week (which is tomorrow) to see if there is any change. I got OHSS really bad (admitted to the ER and 1.5 liters of fluid removed) and I have a very slightly titled and very elongated uterus, so I am hoping the combo of all of those things just made it hard to see a baby (or 2) but I really am expecting to be dx with a double blighted ovum tomorrow. I am so upset, I am manging to keep it together, but I need this over with as soon as possible because our next chance to cycle fresh before 2015 is in May (only 1 frosty total). So, IF still sucks a@@ and is so unfair I can't help but be bitter, but we do have each other!

I'm so happy for you guys and Harrison (love his name too!) that is so great and I know EXACTLY how you feel about him. I truly believe is *anything* great comes from success with IF, it's really appreciating our LOs and the miracles that they are. I just said to H last night (as Hailey was asleep on my chest) "Is she really ours? How did we ever get so lucky?" It's so hard not to be jaded after all we've been through, but knowing miracles CAN happen gets me through the day!
The cycle that produced Hailey we had 39R, 25F and 13 make it to blast. 3 were normal. So I'm hopeful that we get similar results this time and I can fresh transfer next Monday (otherwise we'd have to wait a month or two for an FET) Why can you not fresh cycle until May 2015? I will certainly have everything crossed for great news tomorrow. You deserve to be blessed again. I'll be on eggshells waiting to hear.
Also, your OHSS, did you have high E2 numbers? Lots of eggs? How did you feel after ER? They have me on dostinex to prevent OHSS (with so many eggs you can imagine my E2 was high- over 5k, last time was over 9k and they froze all. I think he triggered me early to avoid that this time) but I'm curious how OHSS develops b/c I fear it could be an issue for me. Did they put you on anything? I'm sorry they had to drain so much fluid from you, that must have been miserable, I'm sorry.

They truly are our little miracles! He is what keeps me going!
I was not a candidate for OHSS, at all, I didn't have this issue last time either. My E2 was high, but not that bad (3k range) and I only had 15 follies, with 9 eggs, 6 of which fertilized. I felt great for a few days. It was about a week later that I started getting uncomfortable and by 12dpER, I couldn't breathe or eat. It actually took me by surprise - I ended up in the ER because I thought it was my appendix or gallbladder. I was already on lovenox, but that is something you have to take with OHSS, plus reglan to empty out my stomach quickly for comfort, and a week of dostinex. I know it is used to prevent OHSS, so I am glad you are already on it!
I moved back to my home town (smaller town) and the only RE I trust here does fresh cycles in May and January only. I guess I could travel for it, but I like him and trust him so I would rather do it again with the same practice.
I will be sure to update you tomorrow - this will be one of the longest days of my life.
You will have to let me know how your embies are looking!

I can't believe you got OHSS! That's crazy. I guess it's true that hcg does increase the occurrence. And it sounded like your hcg was quite high, so maybe that contributed?
I'm already on dostinex, I'll know more about my embryos this weekend (I think) I'm trying really hard to be patient and relaxed (hard to do) this cycle. I have one miracle and I believe we'll eventually have another.
Wow, your RE only goes fresh cycles 2x per year? I've never heard of that. Is it a smaller town/area? I'm glad you found someone you trust, though.
Anyway, I'm thinking of you today. Not sure what time your scan is, but I have everything crossed that you get GREAT news.
