Hey, I know this is a bit early but I just needed to vent.. so I thought I would get this started now...

oh man... SO I have been having bleeding/spotting.. some on Saturday and then again this morning.. I have two appointments this week on Thursday and Friday I was going to go into and ask to see my OB while I was there and have just been doing bed rest until then...

well... and then I get the phone call NO ONE likes to get.. My great aunt has given up on life and they called Hospice out and don't expect her to make it very much longer. She is down to 80lbs, not eating, and is just done and wants to be with her deceased husband. 

I want to so badly go and say my goodbyes.. be there for my family.. but they live 2 hours away.. and with my bleeding, I am so afraid to get out of bed let alone travel that far without talking to my doctor first. I am going to call tomorrow morning and hope I can get in tomorrow.. but ughh.. being in that environment isn't healthy for me or the baby either. I am so stressed out. =[

I'm sorry you're going through this. I had some bleeding early right around the time my mom went into hospice. We are going through the whole hospice process again with my MIL. I hope everything works out and you can see your great aunt before she goes. T&P

I just don't know what to do =[ I knew she was getting bad over Thanksgiving and Christmas.. Was hoping she would at least make it to Easter or June for her granddaughters wedding.. Wasn't really expecting this call.. I want to go and be there for my family... Help them with the funeral plannings.. I don't think I can handle going there and waiting aroud for her to pass away =[ and seeing her in such a bad state.. I want to take care of this baby though.. And not knowing what is causing the bleeding is scary, I hope I can get an appointment tomorrow and hopefully get some answers.. =,[ this sucks so bad.


And of course I am feeling her kicking me and I start to bleed again. I really hope I can get in tomorrow.

I'm so sorry! I hope your bleeding stops and you make a choice regarding your aunt that give you peace. She wouldn't want you putting yourself or the baby in a bad position. Hugs!

Wasn't able to make an appointment today (my office is really hard to make an appointment in cuz its a general company call not a direct office line) so after being on hold for 30min I hung up. I have an appointment tomorrow though, so while I am there I am going to ask to be seen that day or make an appointment for asap. Just another day in bed for me.. Trying not to stress and stay as relaxed as possible. Depending on what the doc says, we will probably go to visit my great aunt on Saturday if she is still with us..

As for me my mom and sister were planning a trip before my due date. They booked the tickets and leave 2 days before I'm due and I'm so upset. I'm struggling with feeling jealous and hurt but also feeling selfish for feeling this way. There's a chance the baby could come before they leave but if he doesn't I don't know how it's going to make me feel not having my mom there.

I could totally understand those feelings. I lost my mom when I was 11 so I know what it feels like to not have her there. Hang in there. I hope your little one doesn't come before he is ready. But I hope their trip doesn't interfear with his birth as well.. Did you try telling your mom about how you were feeling about it??

@sarajoy00 my mom is one of those get over it type people. I tried explaining to my sister and she flipped out saying wtf am I supposed to do put my life on hold for you to maybe have your baby after the 4th. It seems as though neither really care.

Okay. I am waiting for the OB to come in... She is going to check my cervix. Which means more bleeding tonight/tomorrow... LoL just when I get it to stop! LoL we'll see..

Well just when I thought it was safe for me to leave the bleeding check in, I find myself needing to check in here. No more bleeding and Monday I got comfirmation that my placenta is in a good place. We also were at the MFM to check on the cysts on little boys head and they said they are completely gone and everything looks good. So great news all around.

Well last night I started having itching on my hands and feet, which may seem like nothing but with my history it most likely means that my Cholistasis of Pregnancy is back. I had it with my daughter and they found out a day before I was 37 weeks and delivered the next day. Obviously this is a ton earlier than last time. Basically what it means is that my gallbladder and liver are not working and bile acid is circulating in my blood and can be very dangerous to the baby. Everything I know says it's most dangerous to the baby after 37 weeks and you have to deliver by then, but really I never expected it to come on this early. I have only talked to the nurse at my OB office at this point and they are sending me for blood work, which takes a week, and then I will hear from the OB after that. Could mean more monitoring, could mean we could be looking at steroids for his lungs, or a delivery even earlier than 37 weeks. I am trying not to freak out, but there have been so many other crazy things going on in our family this week, this just feels like added craziness.

The other things going on is that my MIL is going for a lung biopsy tomorrow because of a cyst they found on a CT scan for something else, and my husbands grandfather has stopped eating and is now on hospice. On top of that my SIL is going through a horrible divorce right now, and her husband is being a complete jerk. Its just all too much for one week. So basically we could use lots of t&p over here!

And hopefully I will have more answers on baby boy by early next week!

@mattanda2011 I hope everything turns out ok that's pretty scary. I've been itching like crazy lately. Not as much in my hands and feet as on my wrists, forearms and legs. I'm ready to rip my skin off it's so bad. Could this be the same thing?

If you are itching and don't have a rash and it is worse at night it is worth asking your doctor about it. Many doctors don't know about it or don't know enough about it. Check out itchymom.com and read what they have to say. If you think there is any possibility that you have this please insist that your doctor order the blood test. A simple blood test can determine if you are having any issues and it is so worth it. Please feel free to send me a PM if you have any other questions. I am itchy all over, but worse in my hands and feet at night. HTH

Okay.. Great Aunt update, they moved her to a hospital bed in her living room. She is in a lot of pain and barely talking much anymore. She is taking morphine at night and tylenol during the day to help with pain.. They dont want her to get addicted to the morphine (like really?! Why does that matter at this point??) so they are only allowing it at night to help her sleep more peacefully. Her sister is coming in today to say her goodbyes.. I hope her suffering doesnt last long =[

As for meeeee. Bleeding is being caused by a bacterial infection. Or more specifically Bacterial Vaginosis... (Which is weird cuz i havent had sex since we conceived.. But maybe thats all it took?) but I have had no symptoms other than the bleeding. But so I am starting an antibiotic tomorrow morning that I take twice a day for 7 days and the infection should clear up in 2-3 days and the bleeding should stop completely. THANK GOODNESS!! Curing the infection could cause a yeast infection though so she prescribed me a cream for that as well just in case I do get any irritation. It can cause pre term labor, but she thinks I should be okay as long as the infection clears up. =] yaaaaayy. I check back in with my OB on the 14th of March (2 weeks) and have an ultra sound appointment on March 13th. Soo in 2 weeks I will know for sure how everything is again. =]

I'm hyper emotional I've been so stressed and wound up and I have no idea why. I just ugly cried because my boyfriend had to run into work. Ugh.
