Benched Check-In!!!

How are my benchees doing?  Last time we had @FutureMrsBaldwin2012, @sugar4bri, @gsancho, @missvolvo, @runawaylaurel, @amlrunner, @sammydan703, @hope2bmom83, @Kam10, @muzikgrrl, @DaydreamSam, @indianaalum, and @snegde.  How's it going?  Any updates? Is anyone off the bench?  Any newbies?

QOTW: What is your favorite body lotion/soap/perfume fragrance?

I can see my bench exit!!!  CD #1 is just around the corner and then I start BCPs for IVF #1.  I am experiencing every emotion you can imagine. 

QOTW: These days I've been wearing Burberry Body perfume.  I'm also a huge fan of Ayres Midnight Tango body lotion and most things made by Crabtree and Evelyn.

@indianaalum Have you introed over on the Infertility board?  If not, you should!  The March cyclers group is already forming and it's nice to have cycle buddies! :-)

Currently benched due to cysts. Just waiting for AF to show up in the next week or so. Hopefully we will be able to get off the bench and start injects next cycle!

I'm almost off the bench!  Will get AF in right about 2 weeks to start BCPs.  But it sounds like I may be a few days behind @ronniesgirl1981 - I'll start injects towards the very end of March, so I'll technically be cycling for April ER.

QOTW:  I have no shame in admitting it...I love my Jessica Simpson perfume, and I get more compliments on it than anything else I wear.

I am definitely benched with possible multiple polyps and having them removed next week. Too add on I'm not dealing well with the BCPs my RE prescribed (migraines and bleeding) but don't want to switch and mess up another month.

@ronniesgirl1981 fingers crossed for your first IVF.  I have a feeling I'll be headed down the same path soon.

As for my bench cycle day 1 is coming soon as I'm having some mild spotting.  I am anxious to get back to it!

Thanks @missvolvo. Do you think this will be your last IUI? @Sigh202 Those BCPs sound miserable. I hope your polyp removal (hysteroscopy?) is quick and easy. FX!

Still benched.  I'll be holding it down here for a few more months.  I had an email from my RE yesterday and he said to try 2 or 3 more months and then set up a meeting with him.  That should be perfect for me to get the last of my weight off.

I can't wear any "flowery" or "cottony" type scents because they give me bad headaches.  The only thing other than like bath & body works i call them foody smells like fruit, caramel, vanilla scents I can wear is Pink Sugar.  I love love love pink sugar.  It smells so sweet and yummy!

Still benched, AF is due this weekend so I'll have a CD 3 ultrasound sometime next week and hopefully those cysts have shrunk! However, we may bench ourselves for awhile. This IF stress has been a lot on our marriage and DH and I are not in a good place right now. Not sure if I want to move forward with ttc with our marriage on the rocks.

Hi everyone. ((Hugs)) to those who need them!

I'm almost off the bench! My last BCP was on Sunday, so now I'm just waiting for AF to show so we can get this show on the road. I'm cramping today, so hopefully she'll be here tonight or tomorrow.

QOTW: To be honest, I don't have a go to sent right now. I'm signed up for Birchbox where you get samples every month, so I'm constantly changing what I'm wearing.

I unfortunately am still on the bench. Sorry that I missed the last check-in. 

My new cycle started this week. However, my DH went to the doctor last week and found out his testosterone is low again. The DR wanted to test him for hypogonadism. We should get those results next week. 

QOTW: I personally like very clean scents. However, I can't stand the texture of lotions. I am also allergic to most mists. So we stay pretty much scent free in our home.

Hi ladies, I hope it's OK if I join this check-in. I have missed you all and don't know where I belong right now. (((Hugs))) to all who are struggling.

I had a D&C today. My RE first suggested I just go home and wait to miscarry, and I told her that would be intolerable for me. They got me in for the D&C the next day which I am grateful for. However, the early pathology results showed no 'pregnancy tissue' in my uterus, and she is concerned about an ectopic now. I should know for sure tomorrow, but I may be getting a methotrexate shot now on top of everything else.

Either way, I am benched for at least a month, 3 months if I have to have the shot. It will probably be that long before I am emotionally ready to try again anyway. I am going to try and focus on non-baby related things for a while. I have about 20 lbs I would like to lose, and I am eligible to take an exam for a professional certification later this year. So that's how I'm planning to occupy myself.

QOTW: I am not a big perfume user... most of them give me headaches and I can't wear them at work anyway. My DH wears Aqua di Gio and I really like that, though.

I'm still on the bench. I got my vaccine from the doctor last week so I'm benched for at least another 3 weeks.

QOTW: I used to wear Vera Wang Princess but I ran out and haven't found anything to replace it with.

I love love love birchbox too!  I signed up for an ipsy glam bag too, but I won't get my first one until next month.  My friend got both this month and the ipsy was much better.

@bluejello I am so sorry.  I hope you are able to keep yourself busy.

@BlueJell0 What a terrible, awful thing to have to go through on top of IF.  I'll be thinking of you and praying that it's not ectopic.

@hope2bmom83 You'll have to let me know how you like the ipsy bag and if it's better than Birchbox in your opinion. I love my Birchbox so far, but I'm always up for trying new things.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and good thoughts. This is why I love this place.

Just got the call and they must have found what they were looking for in pathology because I don't have to get the methotrexate shot! Wooot!!! I will probably still stay on the bench for a few months but now at least it will be my decision, and I won't have to worry about my tube rupturing or anything as I try and move on from this. I am so relieved, at least *something* went right for me.

After talking with DH I will go for my CD 3 ultrasound and then we will bench ourselves for another cycle while we work on our problems I have made an appointment to start seeing a therapist that specializes in infertility to help my work through my depression in dealing with my infertility. Hopefully I have a better update for you all soon.
