ER visit!!

I was up all night just feeling "off". Then around 5 am became very dizzy and was having a hard time staying focused. I thought something was going on with my blood pressure so I laid down to try and calm myself. I them immediately started having a hard time breathing and became nauseas and threw up. I waited till my doctors office opened at 830 and called. They wanted me to head to the ER which was okay with me since I was feeling so "off" and abnormal! My husband and I got there and they put me on monitors which showed my blood pressure and everything was fine. They also ran an EKG which showed up fine as well. They sent me to labor and delivery because I was having some contractions. Ended up staying in labor and delivery for around 2 hours being monitored and watching that the baby remained stable since she wasn't being very active in the beginning. They checked my cervix which was completely fine and not yet thinning at all! So then I was released!!! All seemed like a huge bummer BUT I am glad we are both healthy and I am back to feeling "pregnant normal"!!

Anyone else go through similar symptom's/issues when approaching their due date? I don't know if this was all a sign that she is coming soon or just a normal scare. I have had a REALLY great pregnancy so this all kind of threw me off! Just wanted to explain what I went through and see who else had similar things since I haven't had many problems during the pregnancy. Also just needed to vent my day I guess

Glad you're feeling better! It could be a spike in hormone levels which is pretty common close to delivery!
